What has happened to truthful reporting in the media? It would now appear that sensationalism supersedes truth! The Jon Benet Ramsy arrest and faux pas case was exactly what the current media desires. The right or wrong of the arrest was not the major concern by many in the media, it was the "next big thing" for them!
The "Drive-By-Media" (to coin a descriptive term for their approach in news reporting) should concern us all. The mental midgets responsible for reporting the "News", has certainly derailed the real truth in media. The press is now their tool of vengeance, used against anyone who would hold distinctive beliefs opposite of their own (usually) progressive/liberal ideas. Arrests for criminal violations are made! The press tries and convicts them in the press. Report anything you can on someone you personally dislike, or perhaps have wronged you in some way. Go to the dirt pile; find something to tarnish that person if possible, media reporting, has replaced real truthful investigative reporting. Did the media reporters get lazy? Is Google their only research and verification source? What about using Wikipedia exclusively for referencing? Years ago a good story took time and patience as the reporter checked every detail for truth. The newspaper or television station did not want to be sued for libel. Today, they could care less, because they are usually large conglomerates with lawyers and large insurance policies in case they are caught and sued!
The New York Times and other newspapers have been called to task for printing false stories. They allowed reporters to publish their story by-line unverified and totally errant in context. When these untruthful reporters were caught, then mea culpa came forth. But! Not until then! My guess is−They would still be reporting lies even now, if they were not exposed for what they were really doing!
This is exactly how I view the Drive-By-Media exposure! Their dirty trick antics resemble a dirty old man exposing himself to innocent children! This act is despicable! The errant media has no shame whatsoever! The media has also been caught with doctored photos. Taking photos and editing them in programs i.e. Photoshop is also lazy reporting. Perhaps the reporter cannot make it to the actual scene where the news is taking place. What better way to make money than by pretending to be there, (or having been there) doctor (change) the photos, and then cash in on them as your actual photographic images!
Now to return to the scripture that was quoted at the beginning of this article. Persecution comes for the true believer!!
"And the serpent cast out of his mouth after the woman water as a river, that he might cause her to be carried away by the stream." Revelation 12:15
And this would depict what? Satan has effectively used propaganda over the centuries to discredit the truth of Father Yahweh's Word! Will the media once again become willing accomplices? Websites like Accuracy in Media are becoming commonplace for now, but will the Beast system overwhelm them in the future?
