"Jacob" Hawkins, with whom he co-hosted a religious broadcast called "The Question and Answer Program," 1950's. Founder and High Priest, House of Yahweh, Abilene, Texas, December 2, 1980-Current. Changed name to Yisrayl Hawkins, 1982. Author of The Book of Yahweh: The Holy Scriptures; Devil Worship: The Shocking Facts; The Sabbath: Every Question Answered; The Mark of the Beast; Unveiling Satan: Her True Identity Revealed; The Two Witnesses; Can We Avoid the Next Holocaust?; Did Yahshua Messiah Pre-Exist?; Deceptions Concerning Yahweh's Calendar of Events; and The Lost Faith of the Apostles and Prophets: History and Prophecy. Claims to have prophesied the Middle East Peace Plan which was signed in 1993. Predicted the end of the world would begin in October, 1998. Accused of being the authoritarian leader of a doomsday cult. Considered an end-time prophet by his followers.

The following stories appeared in the print media.  It appears that Hawkins is condemned by his own words.  Will there be a nuclear holocaust?  Yes!  But we will not go so far as to set any dates.  The world is on the brink of destruction and soon the prophecies of the Bible will be fulfilled concerning this.

We have exposed this man and his false teachings right here on Truth On The Net Dot Com.

Religious sect predicts end of world starts today

By Jennifer Cooke

Fliers covered the windshields of cars parked in an HEB parking lot last week, proclaiming that a nuclear war will commence today leading to the end of man's governments 13 months later.

The House of Yahweh, which distributed the fliers, makes these claims based on prophesies that can be found in the Bible, according to Tanah Hawkins, a House of Yahweh spokeswoman.

Chapter 7 in the Book of Daniel speaks about the Creator's government taking over man's government. According to the Book of Revelations the nuclear war will begin near the Euphrates River, Hawkins said. When the Bible is translated into its original Hebrew, it says that the House of Yahweh is the only safe place.

Many religions believe that the world will eventually end, but beliefs vary on how and when this will happen.

Both Father Ed Koharchik of the University Catholic Center and Dean Smith of the University Avenue Chur-h of Chr--t pointed to verses in the Bible that indicate humans are unable to predict when the end of the world will occur.

In Mark 13:32-33, Je-us says, "As to the exact day or hour, no one knows it, neither the angels in heaven, nor even the Son, only the Father. Be constantly on the watch! Stay awake! You do not know when the appointed time will come!"

Muslims believe there are major and minor signs that the end of the world is coming. Some of these may be occurring today - minor signs include very tall buildings, women who dress immodestly and women who wear their hair like beehives. These signs come from Muslim holy books, the Quran and the Hadith, said history sophomore and Muslim Student Association public relations coordinator Saba Syed. Major signs indicate the end of the world is imminent. The return of Je-us to Earth is a major sign. The sun rising in the west is a major sign that that day is the world's last day.

"When a major sign has occurred like that, there's no going back. There's no forgiveness after that," Syed said. "Everyone understands and acknowledges the existence of G-d. An angel will blow his horn, and then everything dies."

Syed stressed that Muslims do not know when the end of the world will come. She said they do know the day of judgment will be on a Friday.

Mayans believe in a cyclical calendar that will end its 13th 400-year period on Dec. 21, 2012, according to Virginia Garrard-Burnett, interim director of UT's religious studies program.

The Mayans believe that the end of one cycle and the beginning of another cycle is a particularly unstable time during which great change may happen, she said.

Mayan religion has blended with Chr--tianity in many ways. Many Mayans live impoverished lives and hope the end of the world comes in 2012, because they believe that Je-us will come and take them to heaven where things will be better, Garrard-Burnett explained.

In the 1980s, thousands of Mayans were killed during a civil war in Guatemala. Many Mayans believe war was the tribulation from the Bible, Garrard-Burnett said.

Some Mayans have made prophesies in the past that have come true. In the 1960s, an old woman prophesied that there would be a massive earthquake. Her town took her seriously and began stockpiling emergency supplies. An earthquake occurred in February 1976, Garrard-Burnett said.

Tibetan Buddhists believe that while the Earth, this galaxy and this universe will all eventually end, they are an infinite, according to Lee Sutherland. Sutherland is an information sciences graduate student and member of the Dharmata Foundation, a Buddhist group not officially affiliated with UT.

Time periods called "kalpas" last millions of years in Buddhism. A kalpa called a "kaliyuga" is a "dark time," said Sutherland.

"When everybody starts behaving kind of badly toward each other ... kind of like animals, that's a sign, at least with the humans, that everything is going out the window," Sutherland said. "Throughout history there will be good times and bad times, but the overall average of things will get worse and worse."

As people become more and more disrespectful and brutish toward each other, good karma for sustaining a nice world will be exhausted and the world will be destroyed, he explained.

"Planets and beings are destroyed and coming into being. The minds will find a new place to incarnate. If the Earth were destroyed, it wouldn't really matter. People have really good karma and really bad karma. There are so many forms of manifestations," Sutherland explained.

Sutherland believes a mind does not necessarily need to reincarnate in a human or even on Earth, and therefore the destruction of earth is not necessarily important in Buddhist thinking.

Like Buddhists, Hindus believe that life is cyclical, according to Matt Sayers, an Asian cultures and languages graduate student who teaches the religious studies class, "Death and Dying in Indian Religions."

"Brahma created the world. Vishnu preserves the world. Shiva will destroy the world," Sayers explained..

Daniel Rosenberg, a matheatics senior and member of the Chabad Jewish Student Organization, said the Jewish religion does not really have a concept for the end of the world. One prophesy maintains that there will be a great war right before the Messiah comes, in which thousands of people will die.

Rosenberg stressed that a prophesy does not necessarily mean that the event will happen. Bad prophesies can be changed.

"There isn't such a dwelling on these subjects. We really dwell on practical things and living your life day-to-day. However, G-d decides to punish you or reward you is up to G-d," he said.

Cult: ‘Those who laugh at us will perish’

House of Yahweh sect members have weird predictions and strongly prophesise that they will come to pass, Alex Kiprotich writes.

The House of Yahweh, a religious group, is sending shockwaves in Nakuru district and Kinangop.

The adherents, though dressed haggardly and living in mud walled houses, exhibit a conviction which if not checked could be disastrous.

"People see me as a mad man, but I do not care because Yahweh is the only one to judge me," says the 47-year-old Mosheh Sang the leader of the group in Mauche, Molo.

Probed if the sect contemplates mass suicide if the prophecy comes to nought, Sang is categorical.

"It is the people and the Government who are likely to kill us because of our faith, but let them kill us because we are not afraid of death," he adds.

In the three-room house, which was earlier an hotel, Sang has dug an underground tunnel which he says can accommodate his family of four and two other old men who are too old to construct to construct a bunker.

"These will accommodate six people. The food I am stocking inside the tunnel will last us for 13 months before the return of our King," he says pointing at the underground tunnel.

The bunkers, which are 20 feet under contain bedrooms, sitting room, a bathroom and a toilet.

Sang, a third born in a family of five says he came to learn of the religion in 2000, when his wife died.

"My wife used to go to Chur-h of Chr--t and when she died, I knew the children needed a role model," he says.

He says he spent sleepless nights trying to decide which Chur-h to join. Many Chur-hes had sprouted in the area. But it was not until a friend, Keter Yahtah, approached him that he finally made a decision. The friend told him about the House of Yahweh.

After brief teachings, he says he started to tell people of the new teachings. Soon, people started to throng his hotel for Saturday prayers.

Sang, who has no formal education, gave the premises a new name. He called it the House of Yahweh.

From the faithful, one will note that most of them dropped out of school.

"I did not go to school and I have no worldly possessions but the teachings of the book of Yahweh gives meaning to life," he says.

History is replete with groups with fanatical following that has led to lose of lives because of their believes and faith.

In March 18, 2000, 230 members of a Ugandan Doomsday cult set themselves ablaze, taking their lives in the world’s second biggest ritual mass suicide.

Followers of the obscure "Ten Commandments of G-d" sect gathered in a Chur-h 320 km southwest of the capital Kampala and set themselves on fire after several hours of chanting and singing.

But as the residents and the country at large watch the unfolding scenario with awe, the House of Yahweh sect members are upbeat that it was a matter of days before their prophesy was fulfilled.

The members of the sect were still adamant that it’s a matter of days before they proved their detractors wrong.

"Let those who laugh do so but they will perish," says Kipchirchir Yahdah, a follower.

The followers who do not believe in the existence of G-d subscribe to the belief that the House of Yahweh is the only protected place.

"Nations today are searching for peace yet the problems are growing. The following 13 months, the prophet tells us in the book of Yahweh will be the worst time of trouble ever experienced on the face of earth, but there will be groups of people who will not be touched because they have repented," says Sang.

In their September 2006 prophetic word magazine, the followers quote the trouble in Middle East, which they term it "the birth pains" and the deteriorating relationship between Russia and the West as the signs of the beginning of nuclear war.

Though it did not come to pass, the followers of the house of Yahweh believe that September 12 was the beginning of the end of the war through nuclear war that will kill a third of the world’s population.

They say that the nuclear will start around the great river Euphrates and the house of Yahweh is only mandated to teach people what they must do to protect themselves.

"But this will not be the end. The end will come 13 months later with four-fifths of the population destroyed," warns Yaaqob Kiplagat, a member of the religious group.

The group has in their bunkers molasses, honey, illegal brew — busaa — and other permissible foodstuff according to their faith.

Mosheh said they have eaten enough food which contains molasses for immunity of which will prevent them from being affected by the nuclear chemicals."

"We have also prepared safe rooms of which are covered with thick paper bags which will absorb the nuclear chemicals."

He said that they have prepared mechanisms that will prevent them from suffocation while in those bunkers.

They say molasses and honey prevent the nuclear radiation from affecting the body.

The sect members have weird predictions and strongly prophesise that they will come to pass. They believe that milk from cows injected with genetically engineered hormones will enable human beings to give birth to twins.

They also predict that menstruation in female will become optional in the near future.

Yaaqob says the book of Yahweh is the original version of the holy book.

"Furthermore, we do not call it the bible, we call it the book of Yahweh because the bible means Babylon which is a place of idol worship," he says.

Yaaqob whose original name was Wesley Kipkemoi Langat said he changed his name because he did not know the meaning of Wesley but Yaaqob means a planter.

"There is no need of calling yourself names that you do not know what they mean, you can even call yourself a dog and you do not know." He said.

They also believe that a ch-rch means a place of burial.

"In all the roofs of Chur-hes you see crosses and when you go to the cemetery you see the same, so that means a ch-rch is a place of burial," interjects Sang.

Sang told people not to confuse them with a Chur-h because they are not a Chur-h but the House of Yahweh.

He adds that since he joined the House of Yahweh he has never been sick. He says one cannot fall sick if one follows the 613 laws of Yahweh. "If one breaks even one, one becomes sick," he says.

"I have never been sick since I joined the House of Yahweh six years ago because I follow all the laws."

Meanwhile, the members are going on with their daily chores as they wait for the end of the world.

But Likia officer commanding station Shadrack Charo said the police will continue to monitor the group’s activities to avoid cases of mass suicide after the prophecy failed to materialise.

"We do not want a repeat of what happened in Uganda when members of a cult killed themselves because of their beliefs. We will continue to monitor the situation," he said.

The adherents have also used charcoal and salt to purify the air in the bunkers. This, they say, will help to get rid of impurities.

They also give out tithes, which are sent to Texas in the United States of America, where their leaders live. The two leaders are said to be twins and the sect members refer to them as "witnesses".

The two witnesses, Yisrayl Hawkins and Yaaqob Hawkins send prophetic magazines and books on the teaching on Yoshuah, the messiah, they say. [Yaaqob (Jacob) Hawkins is dead] Emphasis Mine

Most of the sect members have no means of earning a living apart from getting food from their small farms and doing casual jobs.

"I fend for myself and my family by doing casual jobs during the six days the Messiah has said it is dedicated to work," says Yeremiah Rono.

This Should Be Yisrael Hawkins!

"But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in My name, that which I have not commanded him to speak, and who speaks in the name of other elohim, even that prophet shall die.
And if you say in your heart, How shall we know the word which Yahweh has not spoken?
When a prophet speaks in the name of Yahweh,
if the thing does not happen or come about, that is the thing which Yahweh has not spoken; that prophet has spoken it proudly; you shall not be afraid of him."
 Deuteronomy 18:20-22

"If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams rises among you, and gives you a sign or a wonder,
and the sign or the wonder which he spoke to you occurs, saying, Let us go after other elohim which you have not known, and let us serve them,
you shall not listen to the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams. For Yahweh your Elohim is testing you, to know if you love Yahweh your Elohim with all your heart and with all your soul.
You shall walk after Yahweh your Elohim, and you shall fear Him. And you shall keep His commandments, and  And that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall die, because he has spoken apostasy against Yahweh your Elohim, who is bringing you out of the land of Egypt, and has redeemed you out of the house of slaves, to thrust you out of the way in which Yahweh your Elohim has commanded you to walk. And you shall put away evil from among you.
  Deuteronomy 13:1-5

We can hardly wait to see the explanation by this group for stating an obvious fallacy.  How will they explain this to their followers and the viewing public?

"And many false prophets shall arise, and shall lead many astray."  Matthew 24:11

"For there shall arise false Messiahs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect."  Matthew 24:24

"But there arose false prophets also among the people, as among you also there shall be false teachers, who shall privately bring in destructive heresies, denying even the Master that bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.
And many shall follow their lascivious doings; by reason of whom the way of the truth shall be evil spoken of.
And in covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose sentence now from of old lingers not, and their destruction slumbers not."
   2 Peter 2:1-3

Can't say we wasn't warned!  And you can't say that Truth On The Net Dot Com didn't echo that warning!

The Days After September 12, 2006

The inspired prophecies show that the world will experience nuclear war in and around the great river Euphrates that will involve two great armies and kill a third part of man over a fourth part of the earth.

The days following September 12, 2006 will be filled with fear of reprisal and more nuclear destruction. The cause of war and fighting will still remain; as long as the cause remains so will the threat of war. The cause is plainly shown in the inspired prophecies from Genesis to Revelation.

The Prophet Isayah was inspired to write that the cause of what we see taking place now in 2006, which will grow much worse in 2007, is the breaking of Yahweh Laws.

Isayah 24:1-6—
1 Before Yahweh's very eyes, the earth is made empty and it is made waste; the face of it is perverted and its inhabitants scattered abroad;
2 And it will be: as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his owner; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with him who takes usury, so with him who gives usury to him:
3 The land will be utterly emptied and utterly plundered, for it has come to pass that this judgment has been pronounced.
4 The earth mourns and fades away, the world mourns and fades away, and the haughty people of the earth languish.
5 The earth also is defiled because of the inhabitants of it, for they have transgressed the Laws, changed the ordinance, and broken the everlasting covenant.
6 Because of this, the curse has devoured the earth, and they who dwell therein are desolate; therefore, the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

I know that what follows will sound strange to most of you but I beg you to study all of this information very closely, then make your judgment. Deception is sometimes hard to understand when one is raised in it. One tends to draw their conclusion based on what they have been taught by a religious leader whom they trust.

Because they changed the Laws of Yahweh that were written to guide us to perfect health, peace and joy, the curse has been laid on all of mankind, the earth is defiled and nuclear wars are coming that will leave few survivors.

In commenting on what the inspired prophets wrote for this time period, the Savior gave a scenario of what we can look for. The final picture of the events we are heading into is given in the Book of Revelation. Notice the severity of what we will experience in the next thirteen months.

Mattithyah 24:21-22—
21 For then will be great tribulation, such as has not come to pass since the beginning of the world to this time—no, nor ever will be.
22 And unless those days were shortened, there would no flesh be saved; but for the elect's sake, those days will be shortened.

From what the Savior says here we see that everything shown in this chapter will be the worst ever in the history of mankind. Deception is the first thing the Savior warns us about (Mattithyah 24:4-5). Remember, this will be the worst ever. Looking at the activities of the nations, we see distinct signs of deception.

Remember, for this time period these things will be the worst ever. If mankind continues to follow this pattern, which he will, it is obvious that in the next thirteen months the deception and hatred will become worse, and the love will grow colder, which will lead to the final nuclear wars that will darken the sun.

If you come out from among these deceiving religions and be separate, repent and convert to walking in Yahweh's Way, you will understand what is coming and can prepare yourself and your family. If you do not, you will surely perish with them.

The Wars Get Out Of Control

The plans of today's governments, which the Scriptures refer to as the beastly system, that will end with almost total destruction, are held back by Yahweh who knows the outcome of these plans. Nuclear bombs were not invented to destroy life but to use as a deterrent of war. This worked for a while but the cause for war was still present, and is still present today—the cause that prompted the "need" for a nuclear device.

Prophecy shows that without removing the cause, hatred, violence and even nuclear war are still in our future. When you think you have peace, but have not removed the cause, then sudden destruction will come.

I Thessalonians 5:3—
For when they will say: Peace --true peace! then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a woman with child; and they will not escape.

The Cause Is Still With Us!

Prophecy shows that what we now see is the obvious result of the cause. Hatred is building among the nations. If you watch the world or local news, you will see violence and hatred increasing.

Remember the words of the Savior, this generation will see the worst time of trouble ever in the history of mankind. We are seeing this trouble now but the worst is still to come. Because the cause is still present and getting worse.

When sin is on the national level, as we see in the world at this time, national calamity is the result. This is evident in the escalating pandemics, epidemics, and sick minds, called confusion in the inspired Scriptures, from which nuclear war is devised.
