A. The titles ascribe them to certain authors and circumstances,  The other inscriptions mean directions as to the music, such as "Alamoth"-for soprano voices; "Sheminith"-for bass voices; "Nehiloth"-with flute accompaniment.  There are a few which are the names of the popular melody to which the Psalm was to be sung, for example, Psalm 9 is set to the tune, "Death of the Son"; Psalm 45, to the tune, "The Lilies."

A.   And Yahweh sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and many people of Israel died.  And the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, because we have spoken against Yahweh, and against you; pray to Yahweh, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people. And Yahweh said to Moses, Make you a fiery serpent, and set it upon a standard: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he sees it, shall live.

Several things are presented in this passage.  1.  The people sinned by speaking wrong of Yahweh and Moses.  2. The people had to recognize there sin and ask Moses to petition Yahweh to remove the serpents.  3.  The people had to recognize the source of their sins.  The had to look and see the deliverance.  This was a type of Yahshua the Messiah hanging on the upright stake.  You have to look to Yahshua to live.
