In John 4:19-24 we find the following
recorded for our understanding about worshipping the Heavenly Father.
The woman said unto him, Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet. Our fathers
worshipped in this mountain; and you say, that in Jerusalem is the place where
men ought to worship. Yahshua said unto her, Woman,
believe me, the hour comes, when you shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at
Jerusalem, worship the Father. You worship you know not what: we know what we
worship: for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour comes, and now is, when the
true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father
seeks such to worship him. Yahweh is Spirit: and they that worship him must
worship him in spirit and in truth.
There is a controversy about the Mel Gibson movie “The Passion of the [Messiah].
Will this movie bring hostility towards the Jewish people? Perhaps! However, the
other side of this is recognition. Perhaps this will bring many of the Jewish
people to accept the Messiah after all.
So now you find yourself in a serious situation in your life. Nothing is going
right! You begin to seek a higher source for answers to your problems. Perhaps
you are at deaths’ door. You are in great distress! Where are the answers to
your problems? You look up! Is there a higher source that controls everything
you might ask? Something is crying out from within you! Help me, your innermost
being cries out! Suddenly you feel a calm come over you like nothing you have
ever experienced before. You are now ready to seek the source of your existence.
You are ready to seek your maker!
Where can this be found you might ask? You perhaps remember the teachings of
your childhood, when you were taught from the Bible. Is this the answer? Will I
find the answers to my questions in the Bible? You find a copy of the Bible and
you begin to read from the pages. Random at first and then you start reading
whole books. You arrive at the New Testament where you find it written about a
Savior that takes away the sins of the world. Who is this Savior you ask? Now,
here is where it gets complicated!
Many of us have been exposed to Biblical truths from our youth, or so we
thought! What is truth Pilate asked in John 18:38?
Yes what is truth? Your word is truth we find in John
17:17. So, how do we arrive at truth? You must seek the truth with all
your heart in the latter days as we find in Deuteronomy 4:29-30. This we find
requires a diligent search. Being led by the Creator (that caused you to finally
cry out) will guide you to finally seek the answers.
Let us fast-forward for brevity’s sake. Now suppose you find the Creator!
Suppose you discover the Creator’s personal name. You find out that His name is
Yahweh! This is all new to you. Now, what must you do? You must find out more
about this wonderful revelation. With today’s technology, this is easy compared
with previous periods in history. With the Internet you can bring up a large
amount of information very rapidly. So, we type in Yahweh’s name in one of the
many search engines that are available. Now you find that Yahweh’s name brings
up almost 450,000 hits (448,000 as of this writing.) Wow! That is a lot of
places this name can be found you might think! Now your research begins. How can
you tell truth from error among the many Sacred Name Groups? Where is the
compass? What do you look for? Well, the first thing I would recommend is that
you sit down with a good copy of the Bible and begin to read it completely
through from Genesis to Revelation. This is best carried out with a Bible
containing the Sacred Names restored in their rightful places. You can buy a
good copy by writing and requesting a copy of the TSS
Information P.O. Box C Bethel, PA 19507. The cost is around $20.00.
It is important not to make any decisions until you have read completely through
this copy (the TSS) of the Bible.
Now let’s suppose you have received a copy from the above address. You have now
read through the entire Bible! What did you find? Were your eyes opened? Now you
might ask, where is this group of people described within the pages you have
just read? Well, this comes with a caveat emptor (let the buyer beware) as they
say. You must beware! Did you read what Yahshua the Messiah said in
Matthew 7:15-16?
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s
clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You shall know them by their
fruits.
There are many Sacred Name groups using the Sacred Names of the Father and Son.
You must know the following passage if you are to survive these groups.
2 Peter 2:18-20
For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the
lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from
them who live in error. While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the
servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought
in bondage.
There are many Sacred Name groups who do exactly as this passage describes. They
promise you liberty from your sins. They say we have the truth! They say the
Messiah is with us! Well! Just where do the answers lay? They are contained
within that copy of the TSS you bought to study and read.
This is the end of part one. In part two we will consider some of the Nominal
Sacred Name groups and their doctrines and compare them to the Word of Almighty
Yahweh! Let’s just see who fits the light of His Word!
Yours in Messiah, Hawke
