MORE RIGHTEOUS THAN YOU!

Emails can contain some very interesting vernacular-Like; you are doing a good job!   Would you answer this question for me?   Or; the best you can become is Bnai Noach.  The following was recently received at Truth On The Net Dot Com.  I will edit and correct where necessary.

Why do you insist on setting yourselves up as judges since you are goyim? We are Orthodox Jews approved by the Rabbi's in such things as bosar b'cholav, muktza , shemita, kipot.  You have no right to judge.  The best you can do is become Bnai Noach, since you worship too.
I pray you will come out of the *Avodah zarah of joshca.

*[(Avodah Zarah) - The Laws of Strange Worship] Or Idolatry. {Emphasis Mine}

Now for the record; we keep Torah stricter than Orthodox Jews including Shemita laws.  I could end this by saying we at Truth On The Net Dot Com are more Kosher than they are!  We keep Torah stricter than they do, without the additions not found in Torah!   But that would make us appear arrogant, and would lower us in the eyes of Abba Yahweh!   So we will explain where we believe they are to be found in error!

One of the problems we have concerning many Jewish law keepers, is this; they are very condescending.  Anyone who doesn't exactly follow all of their Rabbinical approved ways, are Goyim.  Less than worthy in their eyes.

We can effectively challenge and refute anything outside of the TaNaK, as added but not supernaturally inspired by Almighty Yahweh.  This includes, Talmud, Oral Laws, Kabala, and other books derived from secular sources.  Many so-called Orthodox practices, rely on the traditions of men, the Rabbis or Sages!   Our concerns are simply put; where do you find that in the Holy Word of Yahweh?  Can we as human beings add thoughts and ideas to the Torah?  Can we even say Rabbi says this; when it is not even in Torah or TaNaK?   Do the words of the Rabbis take precedence over Almighty Yahweh's words?  We need to look at some of the terms used in this email.

1.  basar b’chalav: בָשָׂר בְּחָלָב‎ — meat and milk.

There is no prohibition in Torah, or anywhere else that prohibits the eating of milk and meat together.  This has been adequately explained on this website.   In Genesis 18:7-8 we see this offered to the Heavenly guests.

"And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetched a calf tender and good, and gave it unto the servant; and he hasted to dress it.
And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat."  Genesis 18:7-8

Another Example:

"And it came to pass, when David was come to Mahanaim, that Shobi the son of Nahash of Rabbah of the children of Ammon, and Machir the son of Ammiel of Lodebar, and Barzillai the Gileadite of Rogelim,
brought beds, and basins, and earthen vessels, and wheat, and barley, and meal, and parched grain, and beans, and lentils, and parched pulse,

and honey, and butter, and sheep, and cheese of the herd, for David, and for the people that were with him, to eat: for they said, The people are hungry, and weary, and thirsty, in the wilderness."  2 Samuel 17:27-29

Now; perhaps you are going to say, "they did not eat milk and meat together," but they waited until several hours had elapsed between the two, before partaking of the other item.  Where is this found in the Holy Word?  Show me!!!

Read the article addressing this doctrine here:

Milk and Meat, Together?

2.  Muktza (Hebrew: מוקצה; also transliterated as Muktzah, Muktsah, Muktsa, Muktzeh, etc.) is a Hebrew word that means "separated", or "set aside."

There are four main categories of muktza, each one with different halakhic (Jewish Law)  ramifications:

1. Muktza Mahmat Gufo-An object or substance not designed or prepared for any use (sometimes referred to as not having a 'torat keli').
2. Keli she'Melakhto le'Isur-An object that is used most of the time for activities prohibited on Shabbat (e.g. a pencil - writing is forbidden on Shabbat).
3. Muktza Mahmat Hisaron Kis-An object that is a Keli she'Melakhto le'Isur and that the owner of which is strict not to use it in any other way for fear of potential damage (e.g. a guitar-it's use is prohibited on Shabbat and most people would not use it as a stepping stool).
4. Basis le-Davar he-Asur-an object on which a muktza object was placed before Shabbat (e.g. a table on which candlesticks were placed before Shabbat).

Many restrictions are placed upon the Jewish people not found in Torah or anywhere else in the Holy Word.  Yahshua the Messiah had this to say about traditions.  (I will answer this prohibition but; because many Jewish people do not believe in Moshiach Yahshua, it might be unproductive.)

"And the Pharisees were assembled to Him, also some of the scribes, coming from Jerusalem.
And seeing some of His disciples eating bread with unclean, that is unwashed hands, they found fault.
For the Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they wash their hands diligently, holding the tradition of the elders.
And coming from the market, if they do not immerse themselves, they do not eat. And there are many other things which they received to hold: dipping of cups, and of utensils, and of copper vessels, and couches.
Then the Pharisees and scribes questioned Him, Why do your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashed hands?
And answering, He said to them, Well did Isaiah prophesy concerning you, hypocrites; as it has been written:
"This people honors Me with the lips, but their heart is far away from Me;
and in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men." Isaiah. 29:13

For forsaking the commandment of Yahweh, you hold the tradition of men: immersing of utensils and cups, and many other such like things you do.
 And He said to them,
Well do you to set aside the commandment of Yahweh so that you may keep your tradition?   Mark 7:1-9

Also:

"And it happened, He went along through the grain fields in the sabbaths. And His disciples began to make way, plucking the heads of grain.
And the Pharisees said to Him, Behold, why do they do that which is not lawful on the sabbaths?
And He said to them, Did you never read what David did when he had need and hungered, he and those with him,
how he entered the house of Elohim in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and ate the Loaves of the Presentation, which it is not lawful to eat, except for the priests, and he even gave to those being with him?
And He said to them, The sabbath came into being for man's sake, not man for the Sabbath's sake.
So then the Son of Man is Master of the sabbath also.  Mark 2:23-28

Yahshua the Messiah and His disciples were not harvesting on the Sabbath day.  They were only partaking of the grain for something to eat.  As the grain was already prepared, they were only eating it because they were hungry, and Torah allows!

"When you come into your neighbor's vineyard, then you may eat grapes to your fill, at your pleasure. But you shall not put any in your vessel.
When you come into your neighbor's standing grain, then you may pluck heads with your hand; but you shall not move a sickle into your neighbor's standing grain."  Deuteronomy 23:24-25

The Rabbinical prohibitions against using a pencil, or carrying anything on the Sabbath day has been stretched beyond anything Abba Yahweh ever intended.  In Israel the elevators are set to automatic prior to sundown Friday and until Motzai Sabbath on the following evening.  You are not allowed to push any buttons to select the floor you are staying on.  Some carry no wallet, will drive no cars (even to attend Synagogue), no lights are turned on, people will even sit in darkness, lights must be ignited prior to Shabbat.

The Sabbath restrictions do not prohibit everything that takes effort. On the contrary, Jews are encouraged to play games, take a stroll, study the Torah, sing, attend lectures, or make love with their spouse on the Sabbath. It is work that is forbidden on the Sabbath - play is encouraged.  However; I cannot agree with some of these Sabbath encouragements because of the prohibition against such in Isaiah 58

 "If you turn your foot away because of the sabbath, from doing what you please on My holy days, and call the sabbath a delight, to the holiness of Yahweh, glorified; and shall glorify Him, to the holiness of not doing your own ways, from finding your own pleasure or speaking your word;
then you shall delight yourself in Yahweh. And I will cause you to ride on the heights of the earth, and make you eat with the inheritance of your father Jacob. For the mouth of Yahweh has spoken."
   Isaiah 58:13-14

Playing games can be considered personal pleasure and unnecessary for Sabbath day observation.  Sex is definitely a pleasure and should always be avoided on the Sabbath and other holy days.   Attending anything but a Holy convocation also is prohibited.  No work is allowed.

Now!  I am in agreement with pre-Sabbath preparation, but; according to Torah Law!

"And he said to them, That is what Yahweh said, Tomorrow is a rest, a holy sabbath to Yahweh. What you will bake, bake. And boil what you will boil. And lay up for yourselves all that is left over, to keep it until the morning."   Exodus 16:23

This shows us pre-Sabbath preparation according to Yahweh's law.  When you go beyond the Words of Almighty Yahweh, you are in unsanctified territory!   You are guilty of adding to the word of Yahweh!

"You shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish aught from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Yahweh your Elohim which I command you."   Deuteronomy 4:2

"Whatsoever I command you, observe to do it: you shall not add thereto, nor diminish from it."  Deuteronomy 12:32

SHEMITA

Shemita concerns the keeping of Yahweh's land rest ordinance found in Leviticus 25.

'And Yahweh spoke to Moses in Mount Sinai, saying,
Speak to the sons of Israel, and say to them, When you come into the land which I am giving to you, then the land shall keep a sabbath to Yahweh.
You shall sow your field six years, and you shall prune your vineyard six years, and shall gather its produce.
And in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest to the land, a sabbath to Yahweh. You shall not sow your field, and you shall not prune your vineyard."   Leviticus 25:1-4

Because Israel violated this law, they were sent into Babylon for seventy years.  See Jeremiah 25 for more on this.  Also the Sabbatical land violation punishment was spoken of in Leviticus 26.

"And I shall make the land desolate, and your enemies who are living in it shall be astonished at it.
And I will scatter you among nations, and shall draw out the sword after you, and your land shall become a waste, and your cities shall be a desolation.
Then the land shall enjoy its sabbaths, all the days of the desolation. And you shall be in the land of your enemies; then the land shall enjoy rest, and shall enjoy its sabbaths.
It shall rest all the days of the desolation, that which it has not rested in your sabbaths while you lived on it."   Leviticus 26:32-35

KIPOT

(Hebrew "כִּפָּה" kippah, plural kippot)

I have addressed this in the article on Yarmulkes.

YARMULKES

Yarmulkes on sale in Jerusalem, June 2004

Perhaps the dissenting Jewish writer of this email disagrees with the article.  Just research the history and origin of Kippah use and you will see the fallacy in wearing a head covering where males are concerned today.  Remember; the Pope also wears a Kippah like head covering, is he Jewish?

Finally:  Concerning Rabbinical approval.

Not every Rabbi is in total agreement concerning the Jewish requirements.  Meaning; what it takes to be called and considered a Jew.  Many of the Rabbinical teachings are taken from pagan teachings, the Kabala for one.  Where do you find instruction for practicing Kabala in the TaNaK?  Did the law of Moses contain mystical magical use of numbers and applications?  Kabbalism has been addressed on this website.

Kabbalism! What Is It?

What have the Rabbi's done for Yahweh's people and Judaism?

1.  They have removed the Name of Yahweh from the lips of Yahweh's people!

2.  They make Yahweh's people to follow false teachings i.e. Talmud, Kabala,  Zohar,  Kuzari
Rabbinic teachings, and many other teachings not strictly taken from TaNaK.

3.  They have caused Yahweh's people to be dispersed and scattered because of Torah rejection, additions to Torah, and false interpretations of Torah. See:  Leviticus 26 & Deuteronomy 28

4.  They have divided Yahweh's people into splintered Jewish groups, i.e. Orthodox, Ultra-Orthodox, Conservative, Liberal, Ultra-Liberal.  How can this be when Torah teaches  אחד
'echâd, One?  Are the Jewish people at one with Yahweh?  NO!!!

The Rabbi's have led apostate Israel into foreign lands away from the Land of Israel and away from Almighty Yahweh!  Can we just refer to the Great Yahweh as HaShem?  The Name?  He has revealed His appellation to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob!   We must be specific where this Name is concerned!

"And Elohim said to Moses again, You shall say this to the sons of Israel, Yahweh, the Elohim of your fathers, the Elohim of Abraham, the Elohim of Isaac, and the Elohim of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial from generation to generation.   Exodus 3:15

And no; the Sacred Name of Yahweh is not too sacred to be used or pronounced.  And a mistaken interpretation of Exodus 6 has caused serious problems for Yahweh's people.  The Rabbi's have used this passage to prohibit the use of Yahweh's Name.

"And Elohim spoke to Moses and said to him, I am Yahweh.
And I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob as El Shaddai, and by My name YAHWEH I have not been known to them."   Exodus 6:2-3

In the Hebrew this becomes a question.  The He interrogative makes this a question.  By my name have I not been known to them?"  Check this out for yourself.

 וארא אל־אברהם אל־יצחק ואל־יעקב באל שׁדי ושׁמי יהוה לא נודעתי להם׃

"but by my name, etc. — rather, interrogatively, by My name Yahweh was I not known to them?"  JFB

Exodus 20:7 actually warns against bringing His Name to nothing.  Those who remove His Name will be found guilty and punished accordingly.  This passage does not indicate a prohibition against using the Name of Yahweh!

5. And finally:  The Rabbis have led the Jewish people away from Moshiach!

Who was Messiah?  What would His name be?  Where in TaNaK can this be found?  How could you recognize Messiah?

Was Messiah defined and named in TaNaK?  YES!!!  YES!!!  YES!!!

So!  You have the Rabbis and the Rabbinical teachings do you?  What have they really done for you or any other Jewish person?  Have they made you more righteous than everyone else?

"Do not be too much righteous, nor make yourself overly wise; why destroy yourself?"  Ecclesiastes 7:16
