Part One

How would you stop a very aggressive religion?  If you lived in a country where Chr--tianity was the major religion, and then another religion began making headway, how would you stop it?  Islam is now considered the fastest growing religion in many countries today.  One can only wonder why considering their doctrines.

What is the common denominator of the three major religions of the West?  That being 1. Chr--tianity or Catholicism  2. Judaism  3.  Islam.  They all lay claim to the Holy Land as their foundation.  The descendants of Abraham, Isaac,  and Jacob for Chr--tianity and Judaism.  The descendants of Ishmael for Islam.  Abraham's son Ishmael was from Hagar the Egyptian handmaid to Sarah.  Sarah was Abraham's legitimate wife in the Biblical sense, so to speak.

Islam is the fastest growing religion and
the second largest religion in the world

This table below shows the growth of Islam:

North America (1989-1998)                                                                    25%
Africa 2.15%
Asia 12.57%
Europe   142.35%
Latin America -4.73%
Australia 257.01%

Among every four humans in the world, one of them is Muslim. Muslims have increased by over 235 percent in the last fifty years up to nearly 1.6 billion. By comparison, Christians have increased by only 47 percent, Hinduism, 117 percent, and Buddhism by 63 percent. Islam is the second largest religious group in France, Great Britain and USA (Muslims in USA are 10 millions and Jews are 6 millions).

Sooo!  How do you stop this growth?

The Worlds Major Religions Changes

In the last half century...

Confucianism & Taoism decrease 13%

Judaism decrease 4%

Christianity increase 47%

Eastern Orthodox decrease 36%

Protestant increase 57%

Catholic increase 70%

Buddhism increase 63%

Hinduism increase 117%

Shintoism increase 152%

Islam increase 235%

These figures although somewhat antiquated, (meaning not up-to-date) are very revealing!   At 235%, Islam is making large gains in religious conversions.  So what would you propose doing to stop these gains?  Would war be an option?  How do you start a war in this PC (Politically Correct) world?  War perhaps would end the Islamic aggression, at least in certain areas of the earth, wouldn't it?   Perhaps restricting them to the desert where they belong, you might think?

Main article: History of Islam

Islamic history begins in Arabia in the 7th century with the emergence of the prophet Muhammad. Within a century of his death, an Islamic state stretched from the Atlantic ocean in the west to central Asia in the east, which, however, was soon torn by civil wars (fitnas). After this, there would always be rival dynasties claiming the caliphate, or leadership of the Muslim world, and many Islamic states or empires offering only token obedience to an increasingly powerless caliph.

Nonetheless, the later empires of the Abbasid caliphs and the Seljuk Turk were among the largest and most powerful in the world. After the disastrous defeat of the Byzantines at the Battle of Manzikert in 1071, Chr--tian Europe launched a series of Crusades and for a time captured Jerusalem. Saladin, however, restored unity and defeated the Shiite Fatimids.

From the 14th to the 17th centuries, one of the most important Muslim territories was the Mali Empire, whose capital was Timbuktu.

In the 18th century, there were three great Muslim empires: the Ottoman in Turkey, the Middle East, and the Mediterranean; the Safavid in Iran; and the Mogul in India. By the 19th century, these realms had fallen under the sway of European political and economic power. Following WWI, the remnants of the Ottoman empire were parceled out as European protectorates or spheres of influence. Islam and Islamic political power have revived in the 20th century. However, the relationship between the West and the Islamic world remains uneasy

Ishmael in Islam

Arabic إسماعيل. In the Qur'an, Ishmael is known as the first-born son of Abraham from his second wife Hagar, and an appointed Prophet of G-d (also mentioned in the Bible). Islamic belief holds that Abraham married Hagar, the mother of Ishmael. As a result, Ishmael was the first legitimate son of Abraham. Islam asserts that he was the one nearly sacrificed, not Isaac, (or Ishaq in the Qur'an). Abraham's willingness to sacrifice his son for G-d is celebrated by Muslims every year as Eid ul-Adha.

Islamic tradition holds that Ishmael and Hagar were sent to the deserts of Arabia on the orders of G-d (Allah). The Bible claims that Sarah, after the birth of Isaac, sent Hagar and Ishmael away. He and his mother settled in Mecca (or "Makkah") and were without water. The frantic running of his mother in pursuit of water led to a miraculous spring appearing from the ground (from G-d) known as the Zamzam Well. Ishmael then helped his father, Abraham, build the House of G-d, or the Kaaba, in Mecca.  [Ibid]

Ishmael in Judaism and Christianity

In the Jewish Torah's (Christian Old Testament's) Book of Genesis (xvi, xvii, xxi, xxv) and later texts, Ishmael or Yishma'el (יִשְׁמָעֵאל "El will hear", Standard Hebrew Yimaʿel, Tiberian Hebrew Yimāʿl) is Abraham's eldest son, born by his servant Hagar. In Genesis 16 Sarai (Abram's wife) gives Abram her maid-servant Hagar to bear him children, since she believed that G-d had kept her from having children (16:2).

Hagar became pregnant and despised Sarai (16:4) who then mistreated Hagar in retaliation. Hagar fled from Sarai and ran into the desert, where an angel found her near a spring. Here the prophecy of Ishmael is recorded in Genesis 16:

11 "You are now with child and you will have a son. You shall name him Ishmael (God hears), for  Yahweh has heard of your misery.
12 "He will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be against everyone and everyone's hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers.
and in Genesis 17:

As for Ishmael, I am heeding you (Abraham): I hereby bless him. I will make him fertile and will multiply him exceedingly. He shall become the father of twelve chieftains, and I will make of him a great nation.
The well of Hagar in Genesis 16 was named Beer lahai-roi ("Well of the Living One who Sees Me" or as some render it, "Well of the Vision of Life").

Sarah became pregnant (Genesis 21) and bore Isaac. Genesis says that on the day of Isaac's weaning, Ishmael was mocking and so was driven out. Abraham gave Hagar food and water, and sent her and Ishmael away. They wandered in the desert of Beersheba (well of the oath). When their water was gone Hagar laid her son under a bush. Then she went a distance (a bowshot) away to wait, because she could not bear to watch him die. As she waited, Hagar began to sob.

The Bible does not explicitly mention the child crying but does mention Hagar sobbing. However Genesis 21:17 says G-d heard the boy crying. A well miraculously appears, saving both mother and child.

According to Genesis 21, Ishmael became a skilled archer and lived in the desert; his mother obtained a wife for him from Egypt. [Ibid}

The above information lays a little groundwork for this dissertation.  Ishmael was born of Hagar and was the son of Abraham.  However, Yahweh did not make His covenant with Ishmael,  but he made His covenant with Isaac!  Genesis 26

And I will cause you to swear by Yahweh, Elohim of the heavens and Elohim of the earth, that you will not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanite, among whom I dwell.
But you shall go to my country and to my kindred and take a wife for my son, for Isaac.
   Genesis 24:3-4

And it happened before he had finished speaking. Behold! Rebekah came out, she who was born to Bethuel the son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, the brother of Abraham, with her pitcher on her shoulder.
And the girl was very good of form, a virgin, a man not having known her. And she went down to the well and filled her pitcher and came up.
  Genesis 24:15-16

Isaac married from the tribe of his father Abraham.  Isaac and Rebecca/Rivka had two children.  Both were males, and they were twins.  Jacob and Esau were their names.  Jacob married according to his father and mother's directions as did Isaac his father.  Esau on the other hand married outside of the faith and family.

And Esau was a son of forty years. And he took a wife, Judith, the daughter of Beeri the Hittite; also Basemath the daughter of Elon the Hittite.   Genesis 26:34

And when Esau saw that the daughters of Canaan were evil in the eyes of his father Isaac,
Then Esau went to Ishmael and took Mahalath the daughter of Ishmael, the son of Abraham, Nebajoth's sister. To his wives he added her for his wife.  Genesis 28:8-9

Now, the descendants  of Ishmael are merged into the Esau marriage.  These descendants are the modern day Arab nations and their lineage from this union!

Genesis 36:1 And these are the generations of Esau; that is Edom.

Genesis 36:8 And Esau dwelt on Mount Seir. Esau is Edom.

Psalm 137:7 O Yahweh, remember for the sons of Edom the day of Jerusalem; who said, Make it bare! Make it bare even to its foundation.

Jeremiah 49:17 And Edom shall be a ruin, everyone who goes by it shall be amazed and shall hiss at all its plagues.
Jeremiah 49:18 As in the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah, and its neighbor, declares Yahweh, no man shall remain there, a son of man shall not live in it.

Joel 3:19 Egypt shall be a ruin, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, from violence done to the sons of Judah, whose innocent blood they poured out in their land.

So the descendants of Esau are Edom!  Edom shall become a desolate wilderness.  It is important to know this!  Because the future of the descendants of Esau and Ishmael has been determined!  Ezekiel holds the prophecy of Mount Seir.  This can be found in Chapter 35:1-15  Mount Seir belongs to Esau.

 And command the people, saying, You are passing over into the border of your brothers, the sons of Esau, who live in Seir, and they shall be afraid of you. And you shall be on guard very much;
you shall not fight against them, for I will not give their land to you, even to a step of a sole of a foot, for I have given Mount Seir to Esau as a possession.
  Deuteronomy 2:4-5

I have loved you, says Yahweh. But you say, In what way have You loved us? Was not Esau the brother to Jacob? Yet Yahweh declares, I loved Jacob,
and I have hated Esau and have made his mountains a desolation, and his inheritance to be for the jackals of the wilderness.
If Edom says, We are beaten down, but we will return and build the ruined places; so says Yahweh of Hosts: They shall build, but I will tear down. And they shall call them the region of wickedness, and the people with whom Yahweh is indignant until forever.
And your eyes shall see, and you shall say, Yahweh will be magnified beyond the border of Israel.
   Malachi 1:2-5

Right now I am laying a foundation that will set the framework for the subsequent parts.  There is a reason and purpose for everything done here on earth.  Sometimes; we as humans lack the intelligence and understanding to comprehend the reasons and purposes completely.  However, Father Yahweh lets his people know what will happen in advance.

Surely Yahweh Elohim will do nothing, unless he reveals his secret to his servants the prophets.   Amos 3:7

And now I have told you before it occurs, that when it shall occur you may believe.   John 14:29
