Cynthia writes Hawke and believes that Americans should be saying "America Bless Yahweh" instead of Asking "Yahweh Bless America. ( I corrected her name use here to reflect the actual name that we Americans should be using.) She further writes: "It's time for for the people of America to Bless the Name of Yahweh, in word and deed for all the great things he has done for and in this country.
A Brand new slogan for America, just look back and see how this country has been blessed, and we've taken it for granted, no more asking Yahweh for the Blessing, it's now time for America to Bless Yahweh! Cynthia
Hawke thought of a perfect scripture for this letter.
And you shall eat and be full, and you shall bless Yahweh your Elohim for the good land which he hath given you. Deuteronomy 8:10
Good Job Cynthia!

Hawke,
A real person or personna to use a "cool" picture? And why "hawk", a preditor, instead of "dove", the peace bringer? Why do you have to hide behind pen or screen names. Shows FEAR of the truth to me.
I would like to see Truth, that does not have to CREATE opposing idealism on any site. Living by ones merit is also the teaching of Yahweh. If your truth can not be taught without the zealot banterings found on this site, you have no ally here or believer in your truth. Show me where Scripture, Yahweh or Yahshua authorize these tactics? I'd really like to know.
I firmly believe in the unwritten and written word of Yahshua and the teachings of Yahweh. You use "stones" to cast favor or disfavor upon others. What did Yahweh teach us concerning the casting of stones??????? "let he who is WITHOUT sin cast the first...."
Come on Hawke, you're hidding truth, not spreading it! I did not find truth here, I found pharasee's and judges, not true teaching of the most Sacred Word. Even true pagan, heathen and athiest groups spread their idealistic "truth" without casting stones or judgment on others.
Forever in Yahweh's teachings,
Allen, Maui

M.G. Writes:
Hey thanks for that straight forward article I have a friend in our men’s group that struggles with the history of the bible and which version is most accurate. I stated Wycliffe, Tyndale, Martin Luther and finally Henry v111’s break with the Roman Ch--ch. I am by no means a scholar you can tell that by my spelling I think what disheartens me is that in the past, people would not only travel far and wide with just the book of John etc. to share our Savior, but they were willing to die for it. And people today freely have the word and don’t even read it. Hey there’s a book that I like a lot is the Chr--tian in Complete Armor by William Gurnall I think you would like it too. Also, I have a question that I think you can help me with, the 2nd commandment, can you give me a clearer take on graven images? I just know there is more there then I am seeing any thoughts or links would be great. Your brother in Messiah , M.G.
Hawke Responds:
Thanks for the positive feedback. The article that he was referring to was America, Colony or Country? The spelling was not a problem either! I just ran it through the word processor and the results are good due to this technological wonder. This statement brought a passage ton mind:
For you see your calling,
brothers, that there are not many wise according to flesh, nor many powerful,
not many wellborn.
But Yahweh chose the foolish things of the world that the wise might be put to
shame, and Yahweh chose the weak things of the world so that He might put to
shame the strong things.
And Yahweh chose the low-born of the world, and the despised, and the things
that are not, so that He might bring to nothing the things that are,
so that no flesh might glory in His presence.
1 Corinthians 1:26-29
The world has certainly changed over the centuries since the Apostolic Era. The world has grown colder to the word of Almighty Yahweh for sure. However, there are still some that truly love the Bible's teachings, and you appear to be one! Shalom, And thanks for writing!
P.S. On the readers recommendation, I purchased the book he mentioned, I will await it's arrival, and begin reading to see what the author is saying. This book has a five star rating!
NEW READER!
Dear Mr. Hawke,
I have been surfing your site and I will admit that you are
striving to promote the well being of life in general. Your site
provides a wealth of up to date information and it is good,
because someone has to do it. So I want to applaud you for your
efforts as I continue to increase my knowledge of the world scene
from all angles. I search for truth point blank and not half
measured self purported ideas as so many sites are doing. There
is this thing of the deeply embedded ego that too many have not
come to recognize yet, which cause them to err, hurting many with
their misinformed theology.
I take the time to write to you because I see the value and I
chose to believe genius in your putting out your information. So
I hope my question will be met with courtesy and genius with
which you speak. So here it goes.
I have researched much on the Israel identify phenomenon. While
it is practically impossible to narrow Israel to a one particular
group of individuals today, i.e. , thru archeological evidence, I
will say this. The so called "Jews" occupying the land of Israel
today, considering all the amount of information I have gathered to
date, are almost conclusive not true Israel but impostors.
Please bear with me, I am only saying this after much study into
the subject and am not in anyway attacking anyone, for Yah is the
judge. I am just looking at the historical records and where it
leads this people to. Having said this, how have you concluded
that these people are who they claim to be? Explain to me where
and how I am incorrect and your proof of your understanding.
Shalom
Anthony
Dear Anthony:
That you for the good compliments and review. But! We always praise the Living Elohim Yahweh for the gifts he bestows upon mankind. In the parable of the talents, only those who used them were rewarded. We want everyone to put their talents to good use.
One of the many things you can do is obtain some good timeline maps. I have included one below for you to look at. I will include more if you are interested? In charting eras and Israel's location through each era; you must reference from various points in time. Let's start with the origin of Israel shall we?

Anthony; one of the major individual advancements in Bible study, is doing research. Learning how to correctly research the Bible is invaluable to any diligent Bible student. Where did Israel originate? What happened to Israel? When were they taken into Assyrian captivity? Did they ever return? Are the twelve tribes of Israel divided ten and two? Where are the ten tribes of Israel today? Where are the two tribes of Judah and Benjamin today? What tribes are in the Holy Land today? We will continue with this study when I receive permission to place more timeline maps on this web site to refer to. I have the maps already, just need permission to use them on this web site. The above map is only a sample and it was free. The others I paid for! Sincerely, Hawke
Greetings,
The "More Righteous Than You" response was of interest.
Many years ago I studied within Orthodox Judaism. While I gained much understanding that I had never been able to obtain anywhere else at the time, In my sincere studies there became apparent many discrepancies especially associated with "oral Torah". When I found irreconcilable discrepancies I was shown the saying "that all such words where from above" (and thus should be accepted as such and not question these clear contradictions). I could never accept this. When I asked to be shown similar contradictions between what Isaiah and Micah spoke or any of the other Prophets there where none given. I asked why since the oral Torah was so much more extensive than what was written down by the Prophets why some of these seeming contradictions (but still words of heaven) did not ever "leak" through to the writings. No answers. (Except that I should just "trust" in the oral Torah/Rabbis.) I was even taught that one of the criteria that the Rabbis used to determine what would be official Scripture was to look for discrepancies!
Sadly the concept of having the oral Torah is ingrained in those who are raised in this way and is rarely a question.
Any questions that appear to lead to an "uncomfortable" situation bring on a retreat back to the comfortable.
Also there is a prevalent attitude among most raised orthodox that I detected in the letter prompting your article. That being, that one who is not born into and raised an Orthodox Jew will never be as good (righteous) as they. Even a baal t'shuva (one who may have been born into a Jewish family but was not observant but then returned to the faith latter in life) was not considered the same.
I must say that Rabbis regularly preach that a convert is to be highly loved (as he is by the All Mighty) and that one
who does t'shuva is more meritorious than one who has never made such a choice. There are a number that do follow this also but they are far from the majority.
Also a ben'i Noach is supposed to be on the same level as a "Jew" ( even if there where such a thing I don't see
how that could be, yet that is the "official line".) This is certainly not the case because despite all of the supposed
"oral Torah" the position and its regulations are still not clear and argued extensively today.
Anyway, I did not "convert" to that system and had to consider Abraham (that was taught to be the father of all converts) and continued my journey from there.
There are many good things in Midrash and Talmud. Having a culture of the Hebrew language and generations of experience in keeping commandments can give good insight to understanding the Scriptures. Also the Hebrew language of the Scriptures has much depth that much can be drawn out.
There can be good traditions passed down. But none of this means what is known as the "oral Torah". If the very rules of interpretation that are taught by the Rabbis was always followed and if the same criteria used to decide Scripture where applied there is benefit to be found in these (now written down) "oral" teachings (disregarding that which does not meet the mentioned standards, or as I think Paul may have been saying in 1 Tim. 1: 8 - "The (oral) Torah (referenced in the previous verses) is good if used according to the (written) Torah." (How can the Law of Yahweh be used unlawfully? It can be violated, but if one refrains from murderhow can one use that unlawfully? How can the lawful keeping of the Sabbath be used unlawfully ? etc... And Paul certainly does speak many things that are considered to be of the "oral" Torah, but only when these teachings are according to the Torah. "Search the Scriptures and prove all things".)
Well, I will end this now. I have sent attachments of some interesting articles concerning the "oral" Torah. I do not
affiliate with these persons or organizations but have found some material of interest here that can be pulled out.
Maybe you will find something of interest here also.
Shalom and Yahweh bless. Raun
