The old adage "no good deed goes unpunished" once again proved true. It seems that one of our contributors has been attacked, by one of the groups that has been critiqued on this website. I was initially contacted when he learned of this website project. Apparently, some of the files he sent me contained his name embedded within the code. I was given permission by this individual to use any information he gave me as my own. He did not want his name involved because of the hatred exhibited by many of these Sacred Name groups towards him and his family. He offered some doctrinal information on the organization he belongs to for our evaluation.*

This information proved to be aligned doctrinally with the Word of Father Yahweh. He provided some valuable insight and information into the so-called "Nominal Sacred Name Movement." This information only reinforced our beliefs concerning this scattered, fragmented aggregation of misfits. This information (along with the volumes that we have amassed) makes us rejoice in the fact that we do not, nor could we ever, belong to any of the groups we have critiqued right here on Truth On The Net Dot Com. We subsequently awarded the organization he belongs to, with the white stone of approval. This decision was based on DOCTRINE!

According to him, the Nominal Sacred Name Movement contains "some of the most evil, vindictive people on the face of this earth. They will do anything to get even with you, and will cause you or your family substantial harm." The Intel he has supplied me is invaluable. He named names and gave sources, and provided documentation to substantiate this revealing information. Truly, this was eye opening data. He also was instrumental in the Elder J. O. Meyer Interview, right here on this website.

My thoughts on his evaluation turned to this passage:

But there were false prophets among the people, as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly put forward wrong teachings for your destruction, even turning away from the Savior who gave himself for them; whose destruction will come quickly, and they themselves will be the cause of it.

And a great number will go with them in their evil ways, through whom the true way will have a bad name.

You never really know what kind of an effect you might have on someone's life. If you perform an act of kindness on one of your fellow human beings, it will usually be remembered. Also, an act of evil will be even more readily recalled. So as much as lies within each and everyone of us, let us also do as did the great and glorious Savior, Yahshua.

This website has put forth good solid information. We have been straight forward in presentation. You as the readers, do not know the good positive effects this website has had on many people. However, believe us when we tell you, it has had a profound impact in many places. Individuals and organizations that have seen themselves critiqued and profiled on this website, have been convicted by its' contents. Many changes have been realized because of the efforts of Truth on The Net Dot Com. Although the changes are not substantial enough to change their evaluation from the Black Stone to the White Stone, it's a start! There are still those individuals/groups who will refuse to take any correction no matter what! Their website still contains letters of evil and false teachings concerning abuse! It appears; they can't handle the Truth!

Recently, I received an email from the daughter (I think) of one of the Urim and Thummim website critiques. I really do not want to spend much time answering this email because−I really believe it will not change anything. I met the father of this alleged daughter many, many years ago when he was just plain Hulon Mitchell. I think he was looking for a place to fit in, perhaps a cause, or someone to agree with his point of view. Personally, I cannot subscribe to his doctrinal dissertations. The Black Israel Doctrine is not a possibility from a scriptural stand point. The Sacred Word of Abba Yahweh describes a house of prayer for all people. This is regardless of race, color or creed. All people of this earth are now given the opportunity for Salvation through the blood of Yahshua the Messiah! This Black Israel teaching is a diametric point of view to the all-white Israel doctrine. These are racist exclusionary teachings! They fail in the light of Yahweh's Holy Word!

She thought that I should just sit down with her father and talk, or perhaps interview him and really get to understand his point of view. Perhaps, she thinks I could be persuaded towards his point of view. Not Likely!

Sometimes life can be somewhat cruel. Sometimes your intentions can be misread. Sometimes wrong conclusions can be reached, when you overlook certain facts. It is always best to make decisions when you are completely informed on any given subject. You should be clear in your evaluations and exhaust all possibilities, before arriving at a concrete decision. Facts! Always deal with facts! Such was the case recently. A reader emailed this web site to inform yours truly, that what we were saying about a particular subject was BS. You fill in the terms associated with these initials. However, much to his credit the reader re-read the information and found out he was wrong in his opinion. He immediately wrote and asked for forgiveness for his previous email. He stated that he was wrong in his evaluation and we do not condone, but we condemn the subject matter instead. He realized what we really promulgate, and is in complete compliance with our stand. HalleluYah! Need more people like this in the world! It takes a big person to say I'm sorry!

We have developed a system of research here, due to the many years of accumulated experiences we possess. Leading people into the truth of Abba's Word can be difficult, with so many choices being offered. Recognizing truth requires discernment and practice. The majority of scholars agree on the name of the Heavenly Father. Ninety and 44/100% agree that Yahweh is the name of the Eternal One! This is not a problem with us here at Truth on The Net Dot Com at all! However, there is something to be aware of! It appears, when some come in contact with the name YHWH in the Hebrew text, exact transliteration becomes a problem. This typically arises when individuals begin to look into the original Hebrew texts. They persuade themselves to study the Hebrew text for greater understanding. The caveat here is−they actually do not have a clue as to what they are looking at!!! To make matters worst, they start self-teaching themselves the Hebrew language via books or electronic courses or via quasi scholars they find doing an internet search. They soon (due to ego) begin to think, they are now educated in the Hebrew language, and can now teach, or tell others what the original Hebrew scriptures actually teach. The Sacred Name is one of their first errors! YHWH is correctly brought across as Yahweh. But these quasi scholars now state this form to be in error. It is actually YHVH some insist. No, some counter, it's YHUH! This now places doubt in the mind of those searching for the actual truth of Yahweh's word.

In writing the series; Why The Holocaust, I realized even more than I did in the past, that violations of Abba Yahweh's Torah Law, brought serious consequences. "The wages of sin is death" wrote Paul in his letter to the Romans. Abba Yahweh gave us a choice in Deuteronomy concerning life or death. We are given the option of choice. We can choose life and enter into a covenant relationship with our Heavenly Father, or, we can choose death by rejecting any relationship with Father Yahweh. He wants us to make the right choice. Satan on the other hand is already destined to the lake of fire. He desires to take as many as he can with him. I hope dear readers you will repent and enter into life with Abba Yahweh and His beloved son, Yahshua the Messiah the Savior of men.

I can only hope as did the Apostle Paul concerning his fellow countrymen/brethren in Romans 10:1-3.

"Brethren, my heart’s desire and my supplication to Yahweh is for them, that they may be saved. For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for Yahweh, but not according to knowledge. For being ignorant of Yahweh’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of Yahweh."

My hope is that they read this series, and recognize their calamity and return to the Elohim of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, Yahweh. Coming to repentance begins with full realization of one's transgressions. A prayer for forgiveness as found in Daniel chapter 9 will be heard on high. Daniel also experienced exile from his homeland. Daniel also realized the cause for this exile and prayed to Father Yahweh asking for forgiveness for his own sins and for the sins of the people. I hope the Rabbis of Israel and Judaism will do the same. May Yahweh receive the glory for this being accomplished!

With our No Sacred Cows policy, we have used our resources and databanks to reveal some very relevant information. This has taken us in many different directions in our quest for revealing Truth On The Net. Finnegan recently led the charge in revealing the theft of the so-called "Nominal Sacred Name Movement." It appears these people could not even come up with any ideas of their own. Not only do they rob words and articles, now they even copy web site designs. Perhaps they think they can do it better? Not! Sometimes imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but in their case, I doubt it! Come on people do something on your own!

We are always working on something, or so it seems, that will help the human race to avoid the many pitfalls of life in general. I am taking on some serious issues at the present time. The Holocaust issue was and still is a Sacred Cow. The cacophony of writers go along with the victim depiction. I take the harder less conventional route, and that being, sin was the cause. Also, homosexuality never seems to just go away. The many civilizations that have appeared since the creation of time as we know it, were dirtied with this shameful behavior. The above saying could be applied to the multitude of quasi Bible scholars today. The I am more righteous than you syndrome, permeates many Biblically oriented websites today. Their approach is to return to the "original scriptures" as closely as we/they can. This research mentality brings errors. First, in order to return to the original scriptures you must know what is original and what is not. One website we visited decided that the Paleo Hebrew was the more correct form compared to the Hebrew square script. Others make attempts to appear more righteous because they return to the "original" pronunciations of various names, i.e. Yochanan for John.

Would changing these names bring you closer to Abba Yahweh? Remember, he scattered the people at the tower of Babel and confused their language. Remember the Septuagint?

Modern scholarship holds that the LXX was translated and composed over the course of the 3rd through 1st centuries BCE, beginning with the Torah.

We do not have any of the original manuscripts of the books that have been included in the Bible. All we have is copies of copies. Most of the original manuscripts of the Old Testament were written in Hebrew, although a few chapters of Ezra and Daniel were recorded in Aramaic, the language of Yahshua.

The first translations of the Bible were of the Hebrew Bible. The Septuagint (SEP-too-a-jint) was a Greek translation written about three centuries before the birth of Messiah. Two other early translations, composed after the birth of Messiah, were the Peshitta in Syriac and the Vulgate in Latin. These three translations, the Septuagint, Peshitta, and Vulgate became the official translations of the Old Testament for the Greek-, Syriac-, and Latin-speaking assemblies respectively. Each also became the basis for other translations of the Bible.

The Septuagint
The Septuagint (from the Latin word septuaginta meaning seventy) was a Greek version of the Bible created during the reign of Ptolemy II Philadelphus (ca. 285-246 BCE) in Alexandria, Egypt for Diaspora Jews. Most of Jews living outside of Palestine were Greek-speaking as a result of Alexander the Great's (357-323 BCE) campaign to Hellenize his empire.

At first, the Septuagint (LXX) consisted only of the Pentateuch (Torah, first five books of the Bible). Different books were translated from the Hebrew over a span of two centuries, including the books of the Apocrypha, and were added to the LXX. Since the Greek used in the LXX reflects an Alexandrian origin, the scholars who created it were most likely Alexandrian rather than Palestinian, as was suggested by a legend circulated by a writer who called himself Aristeas.

Now let's look at some translations. Which one is the more correct?

Genesis 4:7, LXX (Brenton)

Hast thou not sinned if thou hast brought it rightly, but not rightly divided it? Be still, to thee shall be his submission, and thou shalt rule over him.

Genesis 4:7, Masoretic (KJV)

If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him

Genesis 4:7 American Standard Version (ASV)

7If thou doest well, shall it not be lifted up? and if thou doest not well, sin coucheth at the door: and unto thee shall be its desire, but do thou rule over it

What is the point of this passage in any translation? The point is sin and its' desire to make you do evil!

Ok? Another point is this! Which translation is the EXACT ORIGINAL translation? Neither? Now, how many real scholars are there? In all reality? Not Many!

Now, what about the Peshitta text? Is this closer to the original text?

The Peshitta
The Peshitta is a Syriac Bible. Its creation represented an attempt to created a "standard version" of the Bible amidst a variety of other Syriac texts.
The name Peshitta (which means "simple" or "clear") was first used by Moses bar Kepha (d. 903), perhaps to distinguish it from the more complex Syrohexapla, translated ca. 616 from Origen's revised Septuagint. Written before Syrian Believers divided into two communities in 431 and this version therefore was accepted by both the Jacobites (Monophysites) and the Nestorians.

So, on it goes! The I am more righteous than you syndrome continues. I say John. You say Yohanan. I say Genesis. You say Bereshith. I say Isaiah. You say יְשַׁעְיָהוּ or יְשַׁעְיָה  or perhaps it is the other way around. I say... You say...

Am I making my point? The language of the USA is English. This is the language delegated to us by the Heavenly Father. Frankly, I have found most translations to contain the important things, Yahweh's law. Perhaps the language is archaic. Perhaps some of the King James isms needed changing to reflect the modern vernacular. But, overall it still contains the LAW!

The Darkness Deepens!

Well! It seems that Truth on The Net Dot Com is the website to be robbed! When you run out of ideas, just come to the Truth on The Net Dot Com, look around, see anything you like, and take it. Our material is copyrighted, but does that make a difference? No it doesn't ! We don't mind sharing our ideas! But, when others are absolutely vacuous, without any ideas whatsoever... When they come to our website for material for their website project, this reveals to us, they have lost their Biblical understanding. It is good that we have maintained a faithfulness/fidelity to the holy Bible. While they on the other hand have to steal their material from us and others. What does this mean? This means they are now blinded , they no longer have any perspicacious observation. When someone loses the holy spirit they become spiritually blind.

"The lamp of your body is your eye: when your eye is single, your whole body also is full of light; but when it is evil, your body also is full of darkness. Look therefore whether the light that is in you be not darkness. If therefore your whole body be full of light, having no part dark, it shall be wholly full of light, as when the lamp with its bright shining does give you light." Luke 11:34-36

We have the lesson of King Saul who lost the spirit because of disobedience. His personality changed! He no longer was a goodly man. He became evil and was filled with anger and rage. His desire was to kill David. He set out to destroy David in any way he could! This personality change is indicative of people who lose the holy spirit. They have to seek spiritual guidance by other means. King Saul sought out the familiar spirit at En-dor.

"And when Saul inquired of Yahweh, Yahweh answered him not, neither by dreams, nor by Urim, nor by prophets. Then said Saul to his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and inquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that has a familiar spirit at En-dor." 1 Samuel 28:6-7

This means; they will consult any source for information and copy the results. This undertaking brought King Saul some very disturbing news. His imminent death! Oh, what a tangled web we weave when once we practice to deceive. The plagiarists need material to feed their lemmings. So they find someone producing the truth they can no longer produce/publish. When the light is turned off, it gets mighty dark!

Which Commandments Should We Keep?????

Once again, it is our intent to show truth from error. To be able to place knowledgeable facts in your purview is our desire. Choices can sometimes be difficult. To make the best decisions possible, you need to be well supplied with facts. Should we keep the Torah Law today? Some will tell you that law keeping is unnecessary. They will tell you the law is done away with. The law was fulfilled with the Savior's sacrifice, they say. But just what is the TRUTH? The truth is this, the sacrificial law leading up to the Messiah was fulfilled with Yahshua's atoning sacrifice. We no longer need to bring animal sacrifices to offer Almighty Yahweh for our sins. Yahshua the Messiah is our atonement in this era. He is the only sacrifice now acceptable before Abba Yahweh!

The moral law is still in effect. We must rightly divide the 613 commandments, as these contain both sacrificial and morals laws. Perhaps the following will shed some light.

And behold, one came to him and said, Teacher, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said to him, "Why do you ask me concerning that which is good? One there is who is good: but if you would enter into life, keep the commandments. He said to him, Which? And Yahshua said, "You shall not kill, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, Honor your father and mother; and, You shall love your neighbor as yourself." The young man said to him, All these things have I observed: what lack I yet? Yahshua said to him, If you would be perfect, go, sell that which you have, and give to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me. But when the young man heard the saying, he went away sorrowful; for he was one that had great possessions. Matthew 1916-22

Here Yahshua quotes some of the laws of Torah. These were quoted from the Ten Commandments. As you can see from this passage the laws of Torah are still valid. Yahshua states "But if you would enter into life keep the commandments." Does this mean that only the ones quoted by Yahshua are viable? No! Absolutely not! One must study long and hard to find out which commandments apply to us today. You must read and then understand what you read. Is murder a punishable commandment for us today? Is adultery a sin? Can we steal? Should we observe and keep the Sabbath? etc. etc.

This leads me to the circumcision question. Should we circumcise our male children? Yes! If the male child is born into a commandment keeping family and is eight days old! This law is still extant. Is the shedding of blood at circumcision or even the shedding of blood, i.e. pricking of the foreskin acceptable as atonement for our sins. If a man is converted into Judaism today, should he undergo circumcision of his foreskin? No, this is quite unnecessary today. The circumcision of the heart in the older male individual is what is necessary today.

WHAT ABOUT THE SANHEDRIN?

THE GREAT SANHEDRIN

This brings up another valid question. Will the re-establishment of the Sanhedrin bring forth the setting of Mo'edim (plural of Moed)? The feast days?

#4150 מוֹעָדָה מֹעֵד מוֹעֵד  mô'êd mô'êd mô'âdâh mo-ade', mo-ade', mo-aw-daw'  From #3259; properly an appointment, that is, a fixed time or season; specifically a festival; conventionally a year; by implication, an assembly (as convened for a definite purpose); technically the congregation; by extension, the place of meeting; also a signal (as appointed beforehand):—appointed (sign, time), (place of, solemn) assembly, congregation, (set, solemn) feast, (appointed, due) season, solemn (-ity), synagogue, (set) time (appointed). 

I believe this is a viable question. Yes, I believe that the Sanhedrin will re-establish all things pertaining to the feast days, the temple system, the priesthood for temple service, and everything that will be associated with the rebuilt temple! Just what is the Sanhedrin?

SANHEDRIN: Term derived from the Greek and meaning council court. The exact nature and functions of this body, which flourished during the latter part of the Second Temple Period, are not quite clear, particularly as the information contained in the rabbinic sources (which are in part later than the S.) and in the Greek texts (JOSEPHUS, NEW TESTAMENT) is conflicting. According to the Talmud, the S. par excellence, i.e., the “Great S.” in Jerusalem, consisting of seventy- one members, met in the Hall of Hewn Stones in the Temple. The inferior courts of twenty-three members were known as Small Sanhedrins. Small Sanhedrins functioned in every city or region, while the Great S. was largely a legislative body as well as court of appeal to which the inferior courts submitted queries. The Small S. of Jerusalem consisted of at least twenty-three members out of the seventy-one which comprised the Great S.
The judicial function of the Great S. was confined to the trying of national figures, such as king and High Priest, and to cases involving definition of the Law, as in the case of a false prophet. The S. was also an educative body, attended by students who even participated in its deliberations. Some of the trials described in the g-spels are reported to have taken place in the home of the High Priest and thus not in the Temple; this may imply that the reference here is not to the Great S. but to a special political council court, set up by the High Priest in his capacity of head of the state. This body, acting as a grand jury, assembled the facts concerning the charges against J-s-s and presented them to the Roman governor, Pontius Pilate. in the early days of the Hasmonean dynasty the Great S., consisting of Pharisees, probably shared the government with the king. The Great S. was headed by two senior officials — the NASI and the AV BET DIN. John Hyrcanus later broke with the Pharisees, expelled them from the S., and annulled their religious rulings. They were reinstated only after the death of Alexander Yannai, when his widow, Salome Alexandra, held the reins of government. Under Herod and his successors (all of them Roman appointees) the authority of the Great S. was confined to purely religious affairs. After the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 C.E., the name of S. designated the assemblies of leading Jewish scholars which functioned as a religious legislature first in Yavneh (in Judea) and subsequently in Usha, Shepharam, Bet Shearim, Sepphoris, and Tiberias (in Galilee) up to the 5th cent. Outside Palestine, the authority of the S. depended entirely upon its voluntary acceptance by the people. This was achieved through the intensive educational activity of Jewish scholars, who frequently undertook journeys to distant countries in order to disseminate Jewish knowledge and inspiration. The S. continued not only to interpret the Law but also to issue gezerot (decrees) and takkanot (ordinances) to meet the needs of the times. The question of a possible renewal of the institution of the S. has been debated at various times; see ORDINATION. The name S. was also given to the rabbinical assembly convened by Napoleon in Paris (1807) in order to approve Jewish adherence to his civil code.

SANHEDRIN: Fourth tractate of the Mishnah order of NEZIKIN with gemara in both Talmuds. It deals with the authority of all types of law courts; legal procedure, particularly in criminal cases (investigation of witnesses, judgments, decisions, etc.); and CAPITAL PUNISHMENT (when and how applicable). Other subjects include the privileges of the High Priest and king; the law of the rebellious son (Deut. 21:18 ff.) and the banned city (Deut. 13:13 if.).; and false prophets. The tenth chapter, which opens with the words “All Israel has a portion in the World to Come” (although it proceeds to list exceptions) deals with life after death and has been one of the main sources of rabbinic theology. The tractate MAKKOT may originally have formed part of the tractate S. SARUG (or SARUK), ISRAEL (16th cent.): Italian kabbalist; one of the earliest propagandists of Lurianic Kabbalah. He claimed to be a disciple of Isaac LURIA and disseminated the latter’s doctrines while giving them a distinctly quasi-Platonic turn of his own. His influence dominated the kabbalistic schools of Italy.

I believe this re-established Sanhedrin will follow the directives of other periods of time when they were in power. The above definition is self-explanatory!

Yes! I believe the re-established Sanhedrin will find the necessity for once again setting the mo'edim. This will keep Judaism in harmony. Caveat! This also will usher in the Man of Sin! Beware!

HILLEL II (2nd half of the 4th cent.): Patriarch of Palestinian Jewry. He abolished the proclamation of a new month by observation of the NEW MOON and substituted for it a permanent CALENDAR, based on complicated but very exact calculations. This calendar and its adoption meant that the Diaspora no longer had to depend on Palestine for the fixing of dates, and it remains the standard Jewish calendar. H. was in correspondence with the Roman emperor Julian (called the Apostate), who addressed him with particular affection. [Ibid]

When someone purports to know more about something than those who do the research and write about their findings, there is a problem. So, it shall be addressed here, today. Positive constructive criticism is accepted and appreciated. Know-it-all criticism is basically worthless. Why? Because this type is coupled with arrogance!

It sounds like your organization has been heavily influenced by
Xstianity and the Sacred Name movement on this one . Circumcision is
commanded in the Torah and in the FLESH. It sounds as if you folks as the
largest Gentile Sacred Name Organization, are downplaying the command of
circumcision on the 8th day.Remeber Brith Milah is as mucha commandment as
the Shabbat, Tallis, tzit tzits etc.

It seems that our answer to the Acts 15 decision was not quite understood by this individual. Nowhere do we take away from the law of circumcision in our writings. It is still a law to circumcise a male child on the eighth day as per Leviticus/Wayyikra 12:3 Additionally, I personally never had much to do with Xtianity.

Finnegan is not advocating non-circumcision in his answer. He is simply stating the facts concerning the ritual shedding of blood. This drop of blood that is shed during circumcision, does in no way atone for your own sins. This practice was, and still is taught in Judaism. The council of Acts 15 gives the intent of the Creator for bringing in Gentile converts. Among the many things discussed was the law of circumcision. The bottom line is this: The Gentile converts of necessity would be adults already past the eighth day requirement. You could not return to your childhood and be circumcised on the eighth day as required by Torah. Understand?

The individual that wrote this missive was formerly a member of a Sacred Name Organization. After finding this out, I contacted his former Pastor. I asked for an evaluation of this individual. The following describes what this Pastor knows about this individual.

Personally, I have no use for the so-called chat rooms/forums included in many web sites today. The Apostle Paul had correctly assessed the problem in his era. The weak minded people had nothing better to do than telling or hearing what basically amounted to idle talk/gossip. The same occurs today in many loosely controlled chat/forum areas on the net. These chats/forums provide a place to write anything that comes to mind. Many of these statements are untrue or un-provable as to content. There is no one checking the veracity of the statements made in these particular areas of verbal expression. We have received evidence of what I am saying. Only recently I was basically challenged on posting to a particular web site. I told the site owner that I have never posted anything on his web site and furthermore I do not engage in this manner of communication. He believes someone is posting in my stead and apologized for his insinuations. In fact one posting used the Greek name for Messiah, I would never do that! Case closed! As I can determine, someone has copied some of our web content and posted it on this web site in question. It was copied right off our Purpose page!

Touched A Final Nerve!

It appears that we have touched a final nerve with our dissertations concerning those critics. Gotta love it! We do effective evaluations here at truth on the net dot com. Perhaps this is not quite what you were expecting? We are told that our web pages are dripping with criticism! What is the difference between evaluation and criticism? Plenty! Our evaluation and investigative techniques yield the truth, if you want to believe the results that we post. Critics only carp and complain about the results as being too judgmental. Sounds like that whining Democratic Party to me. They can dish it out, but, they can't take it! It; being the truth that is.

And of course I'm not telling you everything about my background either. I did not want that to prejudice anyone's thinking. Levitical or Melchizedek? Part Two

Well! Break time is over! Needed to refresh ourselves a little! Glad you're still reading the articles posted here at Truth On The Net Dot Com! I just finished part two of Levitical or Melchizedek. Is this knowledge of any importance to the true worshipper? Yes! This whole world lies in the evil one! This evil one, is one of lies and deceit. The world awaits a Messiah of some form. They want all of their problems solved without any effort on their part. This Anti-Messiah will offer (and also have) solutions to mankind's self imposed problems. The people want peace! So, he will have the answers/solution on how to bring peace to this planet, albeit it only temporary. The deception is great. The Vatican is deceiving the masses that follow their directive. After coming in contact with a book that explains, and documents the course that America and the world has taken in regards to religious beliefs, I felt motivated to begin a series that explains this in the light of Yahweh's Holy Word. Prophet of Yahweh?

Dear Hawke: I just saw a news story about a man who calls himself "Prophet Yahweh." This man claims he can bring UFO's by just praying, is this something we should be involved in?

Hawke: I too saw this spectacle! Many scriptures went through my mind during, and also after seeing this deception. I can hardly believe Almighty Yahweh would send anyone to preach/teach such a doctrine. Remember the purpose of John the Baptist was to call people to repentance and to be baptized for their sins! Yahshua the Messiah stated His mission:

But He said to them, It is right for Me to proclaim the evangel, the kingdom of Yahweh, to the other cities, because I was sent on this mission. Luke 4:43

Yahshua sent His Apostles on a mission. He gave them the commission to preach the Kingdom message. That message deals with repentance and baptism in the name of Yahshua the Messiah for the remission of your sins!

And Peter said to them, 'Repent and be baptized, each of you on the name of Yahshua the Messiah to remission of sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.' Acts 2:38

Go! Behold, I send you out as lambs in the midst of wolves.

Nowhere could I find any mission/commission stating that the preaching of UFO's was the message of the Kingdom of the Heavens! Did Abba Yahweh send this so-called Prophet? What does scripture say?

I have not sent the prophets, yet they ran; I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.
But if they had stood in My counsel and had caused My people to hear My Words, then they would have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings. Jeremiah 23:21-22

Is the truth of Yahweh being preached by this so-called prophet? Is he preaching the Kingdom message? Did Almighty Yahweh send him? No-- Absolutely not to all of these questions! Is this person preaching the law of Yahweh?

" But beware of the false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inside they are plundering wolves.
From their fruits you shall know them. Do they gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles?
So every good tree produces good fruits, but the corrupt tree produces evil A Every tree not producing good fruit is cut down and is thrown into fire.
Then surely from their fruits you shall know them.
Not everyone who says to Me, Master, Master, will enter into the kingdom of Many will say to Me in that day, Master, Master, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name do many works of power?

Ofcom says OK to sex with animals

Clean-up TV campaigners seeking succour in Ofcom's new broadcasting rules suffered an immediate blow today when the regulator gave the all-clear to programmes about "sex with animals".
The comments by Richard Hooper, the Ofcom deputy chairman, came at the unveiling of its long-awaited new broadcasting code and will have had the regulator's spin doctors holding their heads in their hands.

Although Mr. Hooper was at pains to point out that the new regulations will not give carte blanche to broadcasters, he said certain offensive material would be OK as long as it was shown at the right time and with suitable warnings.

"[What about] a programme about sex with animals? Yes, it's potentially possible. It all comes down to context," he said.

The new code, which will apply across all TV and radio networks, allows broadcasters to "transmit challenging material, even that which may be considered offensive by some, provided it is editorially justified and the audience given appropriate information".

*Mr Hooper's comments recalled Channel 4 bestiality documentary, Animal Passions, which featured a man who admitted have sex with his pony and a woman who had sex with her dog.

Although it was cleared by Ofcom last year, it generated 75 complaints from viewers who said it "normalised bestiality" and could encourage copycat behaviour.

The broadcasting code is intended to give broadcasters more "creative freedom" and allow audiences more responsibility in deciding what they watch.

"Freedom of expression does not necessarily mean swearing and offensive language," said Mr. Hooper.

"A lot of things have to be taken into account if something is to be seen as generally acceptable. In certain circumstances the c-word is acceptable, and in certain circumstances it is not. What we have done is codify that. That is nothing new."

Ofcom has drawn up a 117-word definition of "context" that broadcasters can use to justify the depiction of sex or violence and the use of bad language, including the time the programme was shown, the channel on which it was broadcast, the size of the audience and whether viewers were warned about the content.

"It's about telling the punter what they are going to get before they get it," said Mr. Hooper. He said The Thick of It, Armando Ianucci's acclaimed political satire which began on BBC4, last week "had a quite clear statement before it about the sort of language viewers were going to hear. We are very keen that broadcasters do that."

Tim Suter, the senior partner for content and standards at Ofcom, said previous broadcast regulation had been "about stopping things. The new regime is about what [broadcasters] need in place in order to allow material to be broadcast."

"We are moving into a world which recognises the different responsibilities of the different players. Broadcasters are responsible for what they broadcast, and audiences are responsible for what they consume."

Mr. Suter said the new rules leaned towards the "lighter touch" regulation previously seen in the radio industry. "Freedom of expression with editorial justification - that is the central idea."

The new code will also allow companies to sponsor an entire channel, although the proposals still need to go to consultation.

Friends, this is only the start! The worst is yet to come. Trial balloons are floated to promulgate acceptance of perversion, by the use of de-sensitizing material. Once the reader or viewer is over the initial "shock" of such evil behavior, the de-sensitizing continues until acceptance is accomplished! An example of this is parlayed into acceptance via your television and movies screens every day! And this is the depiction of murder carried out before your very eyes. At first your were "shocked" "stunned" but then you came to accept this atrocity as a normal everyday occurrence?

"For from within, out of the heart of people, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, sexual sins, murders,
thefts, covetous desires [or, greed], wicked deeds, deceit [or, treachery], flagrant sexual immorality, an evil eye [fig., envy], blasphemy, arrogance, foolishness.
"All these evils come out from within and defile the person." Mark 7:21-23

Propaganda

Well, now it seems the propaganda machine is getting into full gear. What is truth?

"Sanctify them in Your Truth; Your Word is Truth" John 17:17

Pilate said to Him, What is truth? And saying this, he again went out to the Jews and said to them, I do not find even one crime in Him! John 18:38

This was at Yahshua's trial. An innocent man was condemned for doing nothing! He spoke Yahweh's truth and he was killed for it!

"I have spoken these things to you so that you may not be offended.
They will put you out of the synagogue, but an hour is coming that everyone killing you will think to bear a service before Elohim.
And they will do these things to you because they do not know the Father nor Me." John 16:1-3

False witnesses rose up against the Lamb of Yahweh, Yahshua the Messiah! He was condemned for the sins of the world, while He himself had no sin! Do you think propaganda was at work behind the scenes in Yahshua's time? People saying false things? Torah demands the witness of two or three people, and these two or three must agree in their testimony.

At the mouth of two witnesses or three witnesses shall he that is to die be put to death. He shall not be put to death at the mouth of one witness. Deuteronomy 17:6

Also:

"One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sins: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall a matter be established.
If an unrighteous witness rise up against any man to testify against him of wrong-doing,
then both the men, between whom the controversy is, shall stand before the LORD, before the Kohanim and the judges who shall be in those days;
and the judges shall make diligent inquisition: and, behold, if the witness is a false witness, and has testified falsely against his brother;
then shall you do to him, as he had thought to do to his brother: so shall you put away the evil from the midst of you." Deuteronomy 19:15-19

These witnesses must also have credibility. If these witnesses were not credible, then their testimony must be discarded as false!

Propaganda can be used to destroy a man/woman or even a nation. Read the following definition/example of propaganda and then read the four part article on Propaganda posted here on Truth On The Net Dot Com. See if what is happening in the USA fits this description!

Propaganda is a specific type of message presentation aimed at serving an agenda. Even if the message conveys true information, it may be partisan and fail to paint a complete and balanced picture. The primary use of the term is in political contexts, and generally refers to efforts sponsored by governments and political parties.

The goal of propaganda is to garner either support or disapproval of a certain position, rather than to simply present the position. The primary target of propaganda is people's opinions rather than their knowledge. Therefore, the information conveyed is often presented in an emotionally loaded way and with other means of affecting the opinions of people.

In English, the word "propaganda" often carries strong negative (as well as political) connotations, despite being accepted as a general meaning of "advertising" on rare occasions. This is not necessarily so in other languages, and usage of the term may lead to misunderstanding in communications with non-native English speakers. For example, in Brazil and some Spanish language speaking countries, particularly in the Southern Cone, the word "propaganda" usually means the most common manipulation of information—"advertising."

Well Intentioned Dragons?

The flagellation of the President continues! Among the Communist, uh! Socialist, uh! Democratic Party, he is the epitome of all evil. Callously tossing around terms like Nazi, Gulag, and Hitler, recalls another time in history when propaganda was used effectively to destroy others.

The following Scriptures have little if any effect on these barbaric minded people.

You shall not revile Elohim, and you shall not curse a ruler among your people. Exodus 22:28

See that not any one returns evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue the good, both towards one another and towards all. 1 Thessalonians 5:15

These mental midgets can only think of being in power. (I'm sorry! I just cannot give any credence to these kind of people!) They will do anything to either get or retain power. The good of the country does not even matter to these corrupted individuals.

The same can be said of a lot of religious organizations today. The following insert appears in a book called Well Intentioned Dragons by Marshall Shelley

Nobody enjoys criticism, especially from dragons. Their “constructive” observations often come across like a wrecking ball — maybe beneficial in the long run, but the immediate effect is noise, rubble, and a large hole in your self-esteem.
Yet even dragons can sometimes be right, and almost all pastors are willing to benefit if the criticism is valid. As Proverbs 17:10 says, “Criticism to an intelligent person has more effect than a hundred lashes on a fool.”
The problem is deciding which criticisms are valid and which are unjustified. It requires a tough hide and a sensitive heart. And a few specific criteria don’t hurt. Here are several tests pastors have identified to help distinguish fair from unfair attacks.
Consider the source. The first test is the motivation of the critics. Are they truly well-intentioned? Are they committed to ministry? Do they want the best for the ch---ch? Are they people of integrity? Are they self-aware enough to understand the issue and accept their share of the responsibility or blame?

Psalm 141:5 says, “Let a righteous man strike me — it is a kindness; let him rebuke me — it is oil on my head. My head will not refuse it.” The righteous, those of integrity who are spiritually mature, must be taken more seriously than impulsive dragons.
The number of sources making the same criticism is also telling. Ch---ch dragons often claim, “It isn’t just me but a lot of people who feel this way.” Unless those other people step forward, however, you can afford to be skeptical. Pastors can apply 1 Timothy 5:19 even when the charges are laid against themselves — “Do not entertain an accusation against an elder unless it is brought by two or three witnesses.”
Solitary shots should be ignored, but when they come from several directions, it’s time to pay attention. As someone once said, “If one calls you a donkey, ignore him. If two call you a donkey, check for hoof prints. If three call you a donkey, get a saddle.”

Consider the spirit in which the criticism is given. Gauge the emotional climate. Does this particular criticism come out of rational reflection or emotional fervor? From weeks of observation or hours of upset? Fair criticism, like fertilizer, should be gentle enough to nourish a person’s growth without destroying the roots.
Sometimes criticism is the only way a person knows how to initiate conversation. It’s a way of getting attention before moving into the real subject he wants to discuss.
If a person takes the time to talk privately, in person, however, and assures you of his love and loyalty before offering his criticism, and is willing to help with the solution, it’s more likely to be a fair criticism. At least he’s thought it through and is committed to solving the problem.

James D. Glasse described the distinction this way: “I would rather be disagreed with by someone who understands me than to be agreed with by someone who does not understand me.”
Unfair criticisms are more likely to be received over the phone, in passing at the rear of the sanctuary after the service, or indirectly via a third party who tells you, “Mrs. Canfield is upset with the new hymns we’re singing.”

Another factor is determining whether the person really wants to help or just likes to carp. A deacon in an Indiana ch---ch is in the habit of calling the pastor each Sunday afternoon and “evaluating” the morning service. “I told him that Sunday afternoons were a bad time for me,” says the pastor, “that I was drained from preaching and needed to prepare for the evening service, and that if he really wanted to help, he should see me during the week.” The Sunday afternoon calls continued.
“I don’t take those kinds of criticisms seriously,” says the pastor. “Now I read the paper while he drones on over the phone.”
Consider hot anger a sign that something more is involved. Sometimes a dragon is so angry you’re almost paralyzed by the outburst. “If I had attacked his wife in front of the congregation, I could expect such anger,” says a pastor who’s still puzzled. “But all I said was...
The natural reaction is to try to pacify the irate accuser at all costs. Silence, however, is usually the best defense.
If the anger is all out of proportion to the issues raised, chances are the real issue hasn’t surfaced. The only thing to do is hear out the person completely. Sometimes the catharsis will uncover the hidden agenda.

“It was one of those rare professional moments,” says an Episcopal rector in Ohio. “I didn’t react nor did I get angry. I just listened as he went on for twenty minutes. His voice was loud and strident. His list of grievances seemed endless: this was wrong with the chr--tian education program, that was wrong with maintenance. I was at the center of it all.
“Suddenly, almost in mid-sentence, he blurted out, ‘She says all I’m interested in is sex.’ For the next hour we talked about his marriage. The ‘issues’ were never raised again.”

If the underlying issues don’t emerge, it’s time to use trusted elders or other lay people to help the dragon sort through the feelings. You may have to coach them on how to approach the dragon. For instance, one tactic the mediator might try: “Hank, we’ve been friends a long time. I care about you, and I’m sorry you’re so angry. Everyone knows our pastor isn’t perfect; yet your anger seems out of proportion to the situation. Is there more to it than what I’ve heard?”
Problems at work, personal pain, financial setbacks, or a recent loss may produce unresolved anger the dragon doesn’t know how to deal with, emotions he may not even admit to himself. So he unloads on the minister because ministers don’t usually fight back. Helping the dragon realize there’s more than the surface issue will offer the opportunity for growth.
Another approach is asking the angry person, “Let’s look at this issue for a minute and see what the likely consequences are. What’s the worst possible thing the pastor’s position could lead to? Would the rest of the ch--rch allow that to happen?” Calmly putting into words the probable chain of events sometimes makes the dragon realize eternity isn’t at stake.

Hello: I first want to say that I do believe homosexuality to be a sin. What I
have encountered are people I meet and who say they are believers in J--us

Are we Afraid?

I WRITE THIS BOOK with sadness. By elective affinity I am an
American, even if I remain a subject of the Queen. I did not come here with an attitude of haughty disdain, intent on running down the country. It has always been my unquestioned assumption that the United States is a force for good in the world, the final guarantor of liberal civilization.

Nor did I harbor animosity toward Bill and Hillary Clinton when I was sent to Washington as Bureau Chief for The Sunday Telegraph at the end of 1992. Although a Tory of Burkean philosophy, I had succumbed to the charm of Bill Clinton years before at a conference of the Democratic Leadership Council in Williamsburg. As for Hillary, I was rather taken by her image of flinty altruism. When I wrote the lead editorial for The Daily Telegraph the day after the presidential election in November 1992, I was guardedly optimistic. Little did I know.

The Clintons are attractive on the surface. As Yale Law School graduates they have mastered the language and style of the mandarin class. It is only when you walk through the mirrors into the Arkansas underworld whence they came that you begin to realize that some-thing is horribly wrong. You learn that Bill Clinton grew up in the Dixie Mafia stronghold of Hot Springs, and that his brother was a drug dealer with ties to the Medellin Cartel. You learn that a cocaine distributor named Dan Lasater was an intimate friend, and that Lasater’s top aide would later be given a post in charge of administration (and drug testing) at the White House. You learn that Arkansas was a mini-Colombia within the United States, infested by narco-corruption.
And you start to wonder.

In Washington, Clinton moved with ruthless efficiency to take control of the federal machinery of coercion. While the U.S. watchdog press barked and howled with pitiful irrelevance about Clinton’s $200 hair cut, he quietly fired every U.S. Attorney in the country and then made his move on the FBI, which would be transformed gradually, one appointment at a time, into a replica of the Arkansas State Police. When he sacked William Sessions in July 1993, it was the first time in American history that a president had summarily dismissed an FBI director. The putsch passed without protest. This is how a country starts to lose a democracy.

I have not lost my faith in the American people. In the end, I believe, it is the ordinary citizens who will cleanse the institutions of the country before they become irretrievably corrupt. They are the heroes of this book. Ultimately, this is an optimistic essay, a paean to the American spirit. But let me tell you, I am astounded by the bullying and deceitful conduct of the U.S. Justice Department, the FBI, and other law enforcement agencies under this administration. No doubt there have been abuses in the past, but I believe that malfeasance has become systemic over the last five years. It is spreading down, by example, lodging itself in the institutional apparatus of government. Whether it is the Internal Revenue Service targeting foes of the president, or the Immigration and Naturalization Service expediting citizenship for “Democratic” voters in time for the 1996 elections, or the prostitution of the Lincoln Bedroom, the Clinton reflex is in evidence everywhere. To put it with brutal honesty, you can sniff the pungent odors of decay in the American body politic. I expect that this is what it smelt like in continental Europe in the 1920s, even as the boom rolled on.

When you are living through events day-by-day it is hard to know whether you are witnessing an historic turning point in the life of a country, or just mistaking the usual noise of politics for something meaningful. But there can be no doubt that the undercurrents in the era of William Jefferson Clinton are unprecedented. It was driven home to me by a symposium in November 1996 held by Father Richard Neuhaus, a respected Catholic intellectual and editor of First Things. Neuhaus warned that the experiment of the founding fathers was in danger of failing, and he pointedly spoke of the “the trail of abuses and usurpations” that set off the first American Revolution. Has it reached the point, he asked, “where conscientious citizens can no longer give moral assent to the existing regime?”
Yes, he said “regime.”

Something about Bill Clinton—his ineffable caddishness, perhaps—is changing the political discourse of the country. Every year that he continues in power, he eats a little deeper into the eroded legitimacy of the political order. The importance of this cannot be exaggerated. Three-quarters of the American people now tell pollsters that they do not trust the government to do the right thing. If ever there was a time when a leader of stoic virtue was needed to restore the authority of the national institutions, it is surely now.

It is under this president that domestic terrorism has become a feature of daily life in America. For decades the country was largely free of the political violence that has afflicted much of western Europe. Indeed, Europeans looked across the Atlantic with envy, marveling at the way this huge bustling nation managed to order its affairs with such cohesive goodwill. Not any longer. The actions and character of President Clinton have engendered the most deadly terrorist movement in the industrialized world. I choose the word “movement” advisedly because I do not accept the Justice Department claim that Terry Nichols and Timothy McVeigh were acting alone when they killed 168 people in the Oklahoma federal building in April 1995. There has been a steady campaign of bombing since then: three in Atlanta alone, including the deadly pipe bomb that eclipsed the 1996 Olympics. The attacks are so ubiquitous that they do not make the national news unless somebody is killed. To a foreign eye, America looks like a country that is flying out of control.

Again, it is under Clinton that an armed militia movement involving tens of thousands of people has mushroomed out of the plain, an expression of dissent that is unparalleled since the southern gun clubs before the Civil War. People do not spend their weekends with an SKS rifle, drilling for guerrilla warfare against federal forces, in a country that is at ease with itself. It takes very bad behavior to provoke the first simmerings of armed insurgency, and the militias are unmistakably Clinton’s offspring. Would they have happened if America were governed by a President Tsongas or a President Bush? Of course not.

Which compels the question: What is it about the combustible chemistry of Bill Clinton that causes such reaction? What has he been doing to America?
The original sin, I believe, was the FBI assault on the Branch Davidian community in Waco, Texas, on April 19, 1993. At least 76 people were incinerated, most of them women and children, after FBI tanks went smashing through the walls of Mount Carmel. The death toll adds up to the worst tragedy precipitated by government action on American soil this century. You have to go back to the slaughter of 200 Sioux Indians at Wounded Knee in 1890 to find an abuse of power on this scale. Just like Waco, Wounded Knee was designated a “battle” by officials; and just like Waco, the victims were demonized as sexual deviants. Some methods never change.

Infants too young to use masks were subjected to six hours exposure to CS gas, a weapon banned in warfare under the Paris Convention on Chemical Weapons. The Justice Department plan, in effect, was to torture the children to force the surrender of the parents. There is expert opinion that some of the babies would have died from the gas alone, without the fire. So I bristled when Attorney General Janet Reno testified to Congress that the raid would have been a success if the FBI had increased the dosage of chemical poison.1
It is my contention that every salient fact put forward by the Clinton administration about Waco is a lie. I do not believe that the Branch Davidians were stockpiling weapons for offensive action, or any action. I do not believe that they “ambushed” the ATF as federal agents were “peaceftilly” trying to deliver a search warrant. I do not find the FBI account of the final conflagration to be remotely credible.
Nobody has ever lost a day’s pay for what happened. I am not suggesting a public flogging for the regular FBI and ATF agents who were just trying to do their job in difficult circumstances. That is not the way to resolve anything. Nor am I suggesting that those responsible be put on trial for negligent infanticide. Not yet, at least. But there has to be a ritual expurgation of some kind if the open wound of Waco is ever to heal. What is missing is any sense of guilt or repentance, any admission that something terrible was done to the Branch Davidians. “I do not think the United States government is responsible for the fact that a bunch of fanatics decided to kill themselves” was how Clinton responded at a press conference two days after the fire.

This, too, was a lie, of course, a posthumous slander. Nothing is more undignified than the attempt by the White House and the Justice Department to exonerate their own conduct by falsely accusing the Davidians of murdering their children. The evidence does not support this outrageous claim. It is far more likely that the
inflammable residue from the CS gas was ignited by accident, perhaps by a tank smashing into a fuel lantern (the Davidians had had their electricity cut ofi) or by flash-bang grenades or other explosive devices used by the FBI. But to admit that the U.S. Justice Department killed these children, albeit by accident, is to change the whole character of Waco.

No, the victims, not the perpetrators, would continue to shoulder all the blame. To compound the injustice, the survivors were subjected to a vindictive prosecution. Some of the Davidians were sentenced to 40 years in prison, even though the jury found them innocent of conspiracy to murder. To the horror of the jurors, convictions on minor charges were misconstrued by the judge to vastly increase the penalties. As jury foreman Sarah Bain said later: “The federal government was absolutely out of control here. We spoke in the jury room about the fact that the wrong people were on trial, that it should have been the ones who planned the raid and orchestrated it and insisted on carrying out this plan who should have been on trial.”
Quite so.

It was not the first time, nor the last time, that Bill Clinton would misuse the judicial apparatus to shape political perceptions. He practiced the art as Governor of Arkansas, and he has continued to use it as an instrument of intimidation in Washington. Sending people to prison on false charges—or trying to do so—is his specialty, which is the chief reason why I have come to revile the man. Behind the facade of a roguish bon viveur, Clinton conceals a very nasty streak.
As a foreign correspondent, I have been uniquely privileged. I am not beholden to any political or financial interest in the United States. I do not hang on lips of official sources, nor do I fear the loss of access in Washington, or the blackball of my profession.
As I write this I am already sitting 3,000 miles away, in a medieval village, looking out over the Weald of Kent. I can tell it as I saw it, the whole unvarnished truth.

Can we agree with this writer? There is a common denominator that Mr. Pritchard fails to see in the Waco tragedy. The fact concerning Yahweh's name being known and used by the Branch Davidians! He does however document the fact that the Feds had under surveillance the place known as Elohim City! They also know and used the name of Yahweh! Coupled with the *Vicky Weaver tragedy in Idaho, viola' we have a serious conspiracy against the users of Yahweh's name! Co-incidence? Hardly! Are the users of Yahweh's name known among the Federal Government Agencies? Yes, you had better believe this with all of your heart. Corrosion is a name given by Yochelson and Samenow to a mental state of criminals that represents a mental process in which outer and inner deterrents slowly are worn down until eliminated. (This book is often referring to mental processes as a common denominator for continuous mental action as e.g. series of thought.)

Whether the process of corrosion is activated or not seems to be a matter of choice by the criminal personality:

The Israeli government's removal of its own citizens from Gaza ranks as one of the worst errors ever made by a democracy.

This step is the worse for being self-imposed, not the result of pressure from Washington. When the Bush administration first heard in December 2003 that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon had unilaterally decided to pull all soldiers and civilians from Gaza, it responded coolly. Months of persuasion were needed to get the White House to embrace the initiative.

The harm will be three-fold: within Israel, in relations with the Palestinians, and internationally.

Sharon won the prime ministry in early 2003 by electorally crushing an opponent who espoused unilateral withdrawal from Gaza. Sharon declared back then: "A unilateral withdrawal is not a recipe for peace. It is a recipe for war." For unknown reasons, in late 2003 he adopted his opponent's policy of leaving Gaza, thereby reneging on his promises, betraying his supporters, and inflicting lasting damage on Israeli public life.

To Palestinian rejectionists, an Israeli retreat under fire sends an unambiguous signal: Terrorism works. Just as the Israeli departure from Lebanon five years earlier provoked new violence, so too will fleeing Gaza. Palestinians ignore all the verbiage about "disengagement" and see it for what it really is, an Israeli retreat under fire. Indeed, Palestinian leaders have already broadcast their intent to deploy Gaza-like aggression to pry the West Bank and Jerusalem from Israeli control. Should that campaign succeed, Haifa and Tel Aviv are next, after which Israel itself disappears.

The Sharon government has also defaulted on its obligations to its allies in the war on terror. As other states, such as Great Britain, finally show signs of getting more serious about counterterrorism, Israel's politicians release hundreds of convicted terrorists and retreat under fire from Gaza, encouraging more terrorism.

Israel's mistakes are not unique for a democracy – French appeasement of Germany in the 1930s or American incrementalism in Vietnam come to mind – but none other jeopardized the very existence of a people.

Sharon has turned America's Chr--tian & Jewish communities against Israel

Ariel Sharon prides himself on being a pioneer, Israel's human bulldozer, the man who is always out in front, who achieves the impossible, who breaks through all barriers. Well, chalk up yet another first to this stubbornly audacious man, for Sharon is the first Israeli prime minister in Israel's history to have caused Israel's staunchest allies, America's evangelical Chr--tians, to come out against the Israeli government.

It is indeed a singular achievement to take your greatest friends and make them into enemies. Sharon has now done this twice. First, with the settler community, who were hoodwinked into believing that Sharon was their ally. But the loss of the settler community is of little concern to Sharon, who, judging from his contemptuous treatment of them, he couldn't care less for. But when it's 80 million American evangelicals who Sharon has alienated, maybe he should begin paying attention.

The news that CIPAC, the Chr--tian Israel Public Affairs Committee, is now pressuring Congress to reject an Israeli government financial aid request, worth $2.2 billion, to fund the Israeli retreat from Gaza, is a grave embarrassment to the Jewish state.

Consider, if you will, an enormous group of Chr--tian Americans, patriotic in the extreme, who have tied America's future to Israel's; who believe that the foremost foreign policy of the world's foremost superpower should be to protect a small and vulnerable nation halfway across the world from the United States; who believe in Israel's blessed place among the nations; and who believe that when the United States is not squarely behind Israel it is acting immorally. Can anyone ask for more stalwart allies than these?

But then along comes Ariel Sharon pursuing a policy that American evangelicals consider doubly blasphemous. First, they are incredulous that any Jewish government could willfully uproot Jews from their homes with army troops. Is this what the United States gives Israel billions of dollars per year in military aid for, to be used not against the terrorists, but against those who peacefully grow lettuce and tomatoes?

Second, they are astonished at Israel's retreat before terrorism. And they see in the cowardly retreat from Gush Katif not only a sinful action against G-d's chosen people, but a willful abrogation of the American-Israel alliance. Isn't America also fully engaged in the war against terrorists? Hasn't the United States made it clear that it will never retreat in the face of terror, that it will never withdraw from Iraq under fire, that it will "smoke out" the terrorists wherever they are? And then, along comes the Israeli government forcing its Jewish citizens to leave their homes of many decades because Hamas has taken over the surrounding area.

America's evangelicals are smart enough to see through Ariel Sharon's deceitful use of language. Yes, he calls this a disengagement. But who is he kidding? Does anyone seriously believe that after Israel's flight from Gaza Israel will suddenly be disengaged from the Palestinians? That Israel will never hear from the Palestinians again? Does anyone in their right mind believe that this unilateral retreat – which is what it should really be called – will bring even a small measure of closure to the Arab-Israeli conflict, or even a diminishment of terror on the part of the Palestinians?

To be sure, while some Jews have talked themselves into the highly improbable scenario of capitulation to terror leading to a lessening of terror, America's evangelical community has not. And now we see the sorrowful reaping of that which Sharon has so painfully sown in the form of Israel's staunchest allies actively opposing funding to the Jewish state.

Here we have the complete reversal of the last great rupture in the America-Israel relationship which took place so memorably during the presidency of George Bush Sr. when he famously refused to grant Israel $10 billion dollars in loan guarantees to help settle hundreds of thousands of immigrants from the former Soviet Union unless Israel guaranteed that they would not be settled in Gaza, Judea or Samaria. On that occasion, Israel's American friends were flabbergasted that an American administration could so capitulate to Arab pressure, and Bush 41 paid an enormous price in evangelical support because of his obstinacy. His abandonment by his evangelical base led in no small measure to his defeat in the polls in the 1992 presidential race.

Look now at how Sharon has completely reversed the circumstances. Now we see how Israel's friends are pressuring the United States to refuse Israel's request for aid in order that Israel itself be prevented from closing off these areas to Jewish settlement. Who would have believed that Ariel Sharon would one day be cast in the role of George Walker Bush, and that the American Chr--tian community would be the ones coming to the rescue of Israel's brave settlers.

Sharon has succeeded not only in the alienation of our foremost allies, but in completely confusing who the good guys and who the bad guys are in the eyes of the global community. People around the world are watching the forced retreat from Gaza and are concluding that these stubborn extremist settler Jews are the obstacles to peace, rather than the Palestinian gunmen who fire on them even as they are forcibly removed from their homes.

I remember that in the wake of the Jonathan Pollard spy affair the allegiance of the American Jewish community was called into question. American Jewry were puzzled that the Israeli government could have been so cavalier in having a Jewish U.S. Navy intelligence officer gather information for it, when that would reflect badly on all other Jewish personnel privy to classified information.

But this is peanuts compared to the conflicting allegiances that Ariel Sharon has now forced on all of us American Jews. Who are we supposed to support in this tragic retreat? The Israeli government, which is asking the American taxpayer for billions of dollars, or the brave settlers for whom that money will be used to throw them out of their homes?

I, for one, have no sense of conflict. While I am the proudest American and the proudest Jew, my first allegiance is neither to the United States, nor to the state of Israel, but to morality and justice. The reason I so love both the United States and Israel is because they are staunchly moral countries firmly committed to doing the right thing. And when the policies of either is wrong, we must oppose the policy and do what is right.

Israel's humiliating and discriminatory treatment of the Jewish residents of Gaza is a moral abomination and, as such, I, as an American citizen, deplore and condemn any use of American taxpayer money to be put to this corrupt end. If Israel had requested billions of dollars to deport peaceful and patriotic Arab citizens from any part of Israel, I would fight it. The same is no less true when it seeks to uproot its most patriotic Jewish citizens. Honest Americans, committed to justice and righteousness, must combat such aberrant policies.

How tragic that Israel's highest government official has succeeded in turning tens of millions of American Chr--tians and Jews against Israel's government. This is the magnitude of Sharon's failure.

We have silently observed the betrayal of little Israel; by it's leader Ariel Sharon. Little by little, this corrupt mannequin of the Arabs, is selling out the Jewish people! What is motivating this? As the Intelligence community has always known, "Follow The Money".

I said to them, "If you think it best, give me my wages; and if not, keep them." So they weighed for my wages thirty pieces of silver.

Yahweh said to me, "Throw it to the potter, the handsome price that I was valued at by them!" I took the thirty pieces of silver, and threw them to the potter, in the house of Yahweh. Zechariah 11:12-13

Then Yehudah, (Judah) who betrayed him, when he saw that Yahshua was condemned, felt remorse, and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief Kohanim (Priests) and elders,
saying, "I have sinned in that I betrayed innocent blood." But they said, "What is that to us? You see to it."
He threw down the pieces of silver in the sanctuary, and departed. He went away and hanged himself.

The chief Kohanim took the pieces of silver, and said, "It's not lawful to put them into the treasury, since it is the price of blood."

They took counsel, and bought the potter's field with them, to bury strangers in.

Therefore that field was called "The Field of Blood" to this day.

Then that which was spoken through Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) the prophet was fulfilled, saying, "They took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him upon whom a price had been set, whom some of the children of Yisra'el priced, and they gave them for the potter's field, as Yahweh commanded me." Matthew 27:3-10

Is Sharon a Jew? Did Sharon betray his people? Could we catalog him in the same likeness as Judah Iscariot? Yes! Absolutely! His end will not be pleasant if he does not repent of this evil action! Furthermore, Sharon also desires to give up more of the West Bank cities to the evil Arabs/Palestinians, or whatever they are called!

So! Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse-it has? Israel being sold out by its' own, (I question this!) now has to face the possibilities of more land concessions. The talk of giving four more cities to the evil Palestinians/Arabs is disheartening, to say the least. How much more will these evil terrorists exact/demand? Everything until Israel is driven into the sea! They want the existence of Israel terminated. They want Israel to leave their assigned territory (via Yahweh's word), and either die or move elsewhere. We remember the miracles performed in the last 30-40 plus years that preserved their very existence.

Go to the Timeline Israel and observe their miraculous existence from it's inception as a State. Notice the boundaries and land parameters over the last 30-40 plus years. The Israelis were called from exile to once again occupy this land given to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Who are these evil terrorists to think they can destroy and seize land that is not theirs to begin with? We are going to see a very powerful display against Israel's enemies in due course!

Moreover the word of Yahweh came to me, saying, Yirmeyahu, (Jeremiah) what see you? I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.

Why are oil prices escalating? Is there a shortage? Are the refineries shut down? Are there ulterior motives? Or, is it simply a case of follow the money?

What do we know about oil? Is this a fuel generated by fossils of generations past?

Recently I received some information concerning the number of patents for energy efficient carburetors for gas powered automobiles. The researcher stated that there were over 3000 patents for energy efficient carburetors. And, none of these are in current use! Are we being taken advantage of?

"For this reason, her plagues will come in one day-death and sorrow and famine. And she will be consumed by fire; for mighty [is the] Yahweh Elohim, the One having judged her.

Now, the people of the earth are facing an escalating crisis! If the oil prices do not return to an acceptable level, the poor of the earth will face a heating crisis. To heat or not to heat! To eat or to heat will be the question.

What a joke! The American people are at a severe disadvantage. The current gas prices are unnecessary. If, there is an adequate supply of gasoline at $2.61 per gallon, (average), there is no shortage of gas supplies. The escalating costs are in existence because of profiteers taking advantage of the American people. Show me the money is there cry! They pledge allegiance to the almighty dollar. They are taking advantage of the peoples' needs. Capitalizing on the very necessity of the everyday working stiff! What a bunch of traitors! They blame this on refinery breakdowns, they blame it on the war, (incidentally, gas is FIVE CENTS A GALLON in IRAQ), they blame it on the Arabs. Yeah! And the dog ate my homework! This is a joke! And, I might add, not a funny one either.

Everyday hard working Americans must commute to their daily employment just to make a living. The perpetrators of price gouging and product manipulation know this! You must have gasoline to drive to work. You must have gasoline to travel to the market to purchase your families food supplies. Gasoline is used in many necessary tools, i.e. lawnmowers to keep your property from being overrun by vegetation. They know this! And, because of this daily necessity, advantage is taken. This is also a people controlling device! Shortages (real or imagined) can be implemented at their whim to control any people, anywhere! Just hold back the supplies and people cannot travel! Hold back or reduce the food supply and people go hungry. You catch my meaning? Of course you do! It's all about control.

And the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the freemen and the slaves, it causes that they give to them all a mark on their right hand, or on their foreheads,
even that not any could buy or sell, except the one having the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of its name. Revelation 13:16-17

Is this a well orchestrated plot to mine the abundant oil resources in the ANWR region? Why is this being allowed? Is it because big oil companies have more power than they should have? Americans developed the Middle East oil fields. It was the technology of the USA that was engaged in bringing oil to the surface, in these far and distant lands. US dollars and ingenuity were the primary ingredients for making the Arab oil producing nations rich today! And now?

Then, the chutzpah these arrogant people exhibit is augmented by trite statements pertaining to gasoline prices in other parts of the world, and "we should be thankful" that gas is so cheap in America! What a bunch of baloney this clichéd worn-out assertion truly is! They should be thankful they do not have a riot on their hands! Because; if the American people found out the real truth! Look out! I am going to include some gas prices for comparison.

Come now, rich ones, weep, howling over your hardships coming on.
Your riches have rotted, and your garments have become moth-eaten.
Your gold and silver have rusted over, and their poison will be a testimony to you, and will eat your flesh as fire. You heaped treasure in the last days.

GAS PRICES

There Must Be Something In The Water?

What would ever cause such a deviation from precedent law, to employ the rule as it comes to mind styles now engaged by the Supreme Court, and other lower courts concurrent?

What are they drinking, you might ask? Or even smoking for that matter? Something has altered their thinking processes!

THE SLIDE FROM CERTAINTY TO IGNORANCE

Making law detailed, the theory goes, permits it to act as a clear guide. People will know exactly what is required. But modem law is unknowable. It is too detailed. Manuals for policemen in big cities often run over a thousand pages, and as if this weren’t difficult enough, the police are supposed to comprehend ever-shifting constitutional constraints on the catching of criminals.

How can law function as a guide to action if almost no one knows it? Bob Hrasok believes that nobody, including the OSHA inspectors, knows all the OSHA regulations: “How can anybody know the fine print in four thousand rules?”
The drive for certainty has destroyed, not enhanced, law’s ability to act as a guide. All you have to do is pick up any volume of the Code of Federal Regulations to confirm the truth of Bayless Manning’s observation that “regulation has become so elaborate and technical that it is beyond the understanding of all but a handful of Mandarins.” Indeed, if the tax code is already “beyond the capacity of the great majority of tax experts,” as one prominent bar committee concluded, how are companies supposed to do the right thing?

The situation is almost hopeless for people trying to make it on their own. Dutch Noteboom, seventy-two, has owned a small meat-packing plant in Springfield, Oregon, for thirty- three years. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has one full-time inspector on the premises, and another spends over half his time there. This level of regulatory attention is somewhat surprising, since Mr. Noteboom has only four employees. But the rules require that there be at least one inspector whenever livestock is slaughtered. Every day the inspectors sit there, “mainly talking on the phone,” but they always find time to cite him for a violation. One citation was
for “loose paint located twenty feet from any animal.” Mr. Noteboom says, “I am swimming in paperwork,” but “I don’t even know a tenth” of the rules: “You should see all these USDA manuals.”

Most small businesses don’t suffer Mr. Noteboom’s regulatory incarceration, but they don’t know the law either. Several million small employers operate pursuant to their own moral code, comfortable only in the assurance that they could never figure out the letter of the law if they tried. This is a predicament one witness before Congress termed the syndrome of “involuntary noncompliance.”
Dutch Noteboom just does his job as best as he can, relying on fifty-two years of experience, and endures daily humiliation at the hands of two inspectors who have nothing better to do than find rules that are violated. What good, we might ask ourselves, is a legal system that cannot be known? [pages. 30-31]

LOSING RESPECT FOR LAW

Law was always the pride of our country. It was the common framework within which a free people could take their own path to fulfillment. The addition of regulatory law, as Professor Edward Rubin has observed, “did not arise out of some lapse of moral vigilance.” We wanted it to protect common resources, like air and water, and to advance other common goals. Most of these regulatory goals enjoy wide support.
Yet, increasingly, law makes us feel like its victims. We divert our energies into defensive measures designed solely to avoid tripping over rules that seem to exist only because someone put them there. Knowing for certain that full compliance is impossible, and that the government’s formalistic reaction may be wholly out of proportion, law has fostered what Professor Joel Handler has described as a “culture of resistance.”

Instead of fostering cooperation it destroys it. By emphasizing violations rather than problems, regulation creates bitterness and adversariness. Everything must be put on the record. Businesses will not share information. A culture of resistance sets in.
New rules are looked upon with resignation and are often considered, as one prominent lawyer put it, to be “transient, boring, and hardly worthy of serious study.” Indeed, unless getting caught is a real risk, why should we comply with these rules? Are we at the point, as Bayless Manning feared, where “a scofflaw attitude has become accepted” by the public? When law is too dense to be known, too detailed to be sensible, and is always tripping us up, why should we respect it?
Perhaps we should recall President Clinton’s search for his attorney general. Rules about withholding taxes on a babysitter’s wages, extremely precise, turn out to be widely ignored by some of the most prominent lawyers in the country. President Clinton was able to resolve the crisis, not by finding a law-abiding paragon (although I still can’t figure out what Judge Kimba Wood did wrong), but by appointing an attorney general who was childless. The episode was absurd, like a skit on late-night television. It was as if the nation had been locked in a vacuum chamber devoid of proportion or common sense.

Law itself, not the goals to be advanced by law, is now our focus. Indeed, the main lesson of law without judgment is that law’s original goal is lost. Safety inspectors wander around without even thinking about safety. The YMCA of New York City, one of the last providers of transient housing at low cost for visitors, gets regular citations for code violations like non-aligning windows and closet doors that do not close tightly. Does the city think that those rooms, by all accounts clean and inexpensive, are somehow unworthy of a city that itself provides cots eighteen inches apart for those who have no place to sleep? A city inspector recently told the YMCA, after it had virtually completed a renovation, that the fire code had changed and a different kind of fire alarm system, costing another $200,000, would have to be installed. “Don’t they realize that the $200,000,” said Paula Gavin, the president of New York’s YMCA, “can provide year-long programs for a hundred kids?”

Judges are now creating law! They are supposed to rule by laws that Congress and Senate compose and establish. These two bodies of the government are charged with making the laws to govern the USA. Should judges have the power to make any laws if they disagree with what is already established law? No! A thousand times NO!!! The citizens of the USA cannot even know all of the laws of America! There are too many already!

The Torah of Yahweh is an uncomplicated legal system. Even a child can understand and obey! How many laws do we actually need? The world's various governments have more laws than necessary. We do not need more laws! But regrettably; the judges think we do! I seriously disagree!

Haven't you known? Haven't you heard, yet? Haven't you been told from the beginning? Haven't you understood from the foundations of the earth?
It is he who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them out who brings princes to nothing; who makes the judges of the earth like meaningless. Isaiah 40:21-23

Hurricane Katrina walloped New Orleans just two days before the annual homosexual "Southern Decadence" festival was to begin in the town, an act being characterized by some as G-d's work.

Southern Decadence has a history of "filling the French Quarters section of the city with drunken homosexuals engaging in sex acts in the public streets and bars," says a statement from the Philadelphia Chr--tian organization Repent America.

This year's 34th annual Southern Decadence festival, which drew 125,000 revelers last year, was set to begin today in the Big Easy and run through Monday.

As writer John d'Addario explained in "Southern Decadence 2005: A How-To Guide" posted on FrenchQuarter.com:

Parades and non-stop parties aside, Southern Decadence may be most famous (or infamous) for the displays of naked flesh which characterize the event – which is only fitting, since New Orleans in early September is generally the closest thing you'll ever experience to walking around in a steam bath outside of a health spa. While police have started to crack down on public lewdness and pressure from a local crackpot conservative religious organization has caused the five-day festival to become a little more sedate than it was in years past, the atmosphere of Southern Decadence has stayed true to its name and public displays of sexuality are pretty much everywhere you look.
Of course, the massive flooding of the city and evacuation order from Gov. Kathleen Blanco has forced the event's cancellation.

"Although the loss of lives is deeply saddening, this act of G-d destroyed a wicked city," stated Repent America director Michael Marcavage in a statement. "From 'Girls Gone Wild' to 'Southern Decadence,' New Orleans was a city that opened its doors wide open to the public celebration of sin. May it never be the same."

Repent America says three former and current mayors of New Orleans have issued official proclamations welcoming visitors to Southern Decadence.

"Let us pray for those ravaged by this disaster. However, we must not forget that the citizens of New Orleans tolerated and welcomed the wickedness in their city for so long," Marcavage said. "May this act of G-d cause us all to think about what we tolerate in our city limits, and bring us trembling before the throne of Almighty G-d."

Marcavage was one of the five Philadelphia Chr--tians arrested last year for protesting at a homosexual event. The charges eventually were tossed out.

And; let's not forget Mardi Gras! This is (was!) another pagan festival celebrated in New Orleans! Perversion of every sort was put on parade during this pagan festival. (Let's Not forget to mention the practice of Voodoo!) Do we think Almighty Yahweh is just going to continue to allow this evil perversion to go unpunished?

The former city of New Orleans was a great city of approximately 500,000 people, but now lies waste. The judgment of Yahweh fell upon this wicked city! Do you believe this? Those that escaped will now have an opportunity to repent and change their wicked ways.

Despite the devastation and ongoing suffering by thousands from Hurricane Katrina, homosexuals paraded on Bourbon Street in New Orleans over the weekend, and have rescheduled their "Southern Decadence" event for tomorrow.

"It's New Orleans, man. We're going to celebrate," Matt Menold, a 23-year musician wearing a sombrero and a guitar slung on his back, told the Associated Press.

An account of the small parade on the homosexual newssite 365gay.com noted:

It was a scene like something from a Fellini movie. Amid the death, the destruction, and suffering in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina a small parade behind a tattered rainbow flag made its way up Bourbon Street on Sunday.
The marchers said they were celebrating Southern Decadence. The group – about two dozen people – all said they lived in the largely gay French Quarter. Defiant, they said they were not about to flee the community despite orders from the city to do so.

One marcher carried a sign proclaiming, "Life Goes On?"

"The shocking callousness of New Orleans' gay activists towards the severe suffering of its fellow citizens cannot be adequately articulated in a news report," says James Hartline, a former homosexual, who describes the "Southern Decadence" festival as being "replete with tens of thousands of men and women engaged in public nudity, prostitution, illegal drug use and destructive public S & M sex."

"The idea that human beings are continuing to party while hundreds of thousands of fellow citizens are starving, dying and suffering from a multitude of sicknesses brings into focus the real lack of judgment that these constant advocates of special gay rights demonstrate in a time of crisis."

According to Agape Press, Hartine himself has AIDS and is now warning homosexuals about the consequences of their lifestyle.

As WorldNetDaily previously reported, Hurricane Katrina walloped New Orleans just two days before the annual homosexual "Southern Decadence" festival was to begin in the town, an act characterized by some as G-d's work.

The event has been slated to go on tomorrow in the nearby town of Lafayette, La., featuring "Floatin' Floozies," according to the event's website.

As writer John d'Addario explained in "Southern Decadence 2005: A How-To Guide" posted on FrenchQuarter.com:

Parades and non-stop parties aside, Southern Decadence may be most famous (or infamous) for the displays of naked flesh which characterize the event – which is only fitting, since New Orleans in early September is generally the closest thing you'll ever experience to walking around in a steam bath outside of a health spa. Now please don't tell me participants are anywhere near sane! I believe they have taken leave of their senses! These people must be "out of their ever loving minds" to coin a phrase of the realm. What are the locals doing about the abominable behavior? Are they crying out against this perversion? I hope so! This re-enforces the words of Almighty Yahweh in Revelation.

And the rest of people, the ones not killed by these plagues, did not repent from the works of their hands, so that they should not prostrate themselves in worship before the demons and idols, the [ones] of gold and the [ones] of silver {and the [ones] of brass} and the [ones] of stone and the [ones] of wood, which are neither able to be seeing nor to be hearing nor to be walking about. What will be Almighty Yahweh's encore to this unrepentant attitude? He delivered harsh judgment to that area! Some are seeing the light and re-evaluating their lives, while others continue in their perversion!

THE BLAME GAME!

The blame game is as old as the re-creation of Genesis. It always appears that weak-minded individuals shift the blame away from themselves. It is always easier for them to escape reality by simply shifting the blame onto someone else. The Katrina disaster is one case in particular. Why do people run away from responsibility? The classic example is as follows:

"And Yahweh Elohim called to the man and said to him, Where are you?
And he said, I have heard Your sound in the garden, and I was afraid, for I am naked, and I hid myself.
And He said, Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten of the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?
And the man said, The woman whom You gave to be with me, she has given to me of the tree, and I ate.
And Yahweh said to the woman, What is this you have done? And the woman said, The serpent deceived me, and I ate." Genesis 3:9-13

The woman made me do it! The Serpent made me do it! First case of recorded blame shifting is found in these passages.

"Is there a thing of which one might say, See this, it is new? It has already been for the ages which were before us." Ecclesiastes 1:10

Again we see this same weak minded mentality prevalent from the beginning of time.

The Katrina disaster, like other disasters, brings out the best of the human race, and it brings out the worst. This was a preventable situation as far as the extended flooding is concerned. If the counsel of knowledgeable people would have been followed, New Orleans would not have suffered the extensive damage now prevalent to the viewing public. Engineers predicted this would occur because the levee system was inadequate! Did anyone listen? Some did, but were unable to convince the proper authorities of the necessary re-enforcement needed. Some were stating as far back as forty years ago that New Orleans would only be able to withstand a category 3 hurricane. Katrina was a category 4 hurricane. The amazing factor in this devastation lies in the fact that New Orleans did not receive the blunt force of this hurricane! The extensive damage came when the levee system broke, and New Orleans filled up like a bowl. This left flood waters at high levels in the lower parts of New Orleans. The extensive damage came from the extended flood waters.

Then! The blame game began! Whose problem was this? Who was in charge? What type of evacuation system is in place for such a disaster? It all starts at state and local levels, according to chain of command law. The Mayor is responsible for New Orleans. The Governor is responsible for the state of Louisiana. President Bush is responsible for the United States of America. Each authority is established by laws peculiar to each individual states governmental system.

You have an ongoing example of the blame game in today's political systems. The Democrats always seem to shift the blame away from themselves when anything bad happens. They have taken the blame game to a new level. They have made blame shifting an art form. And, they would be better at it than they are, if all of the news media played along, as they did in the recent past. But thanks be to a balancing of the scales so to speak by the conservative news media.

Truth on The Net Dot Com also provides a balance among religious organizations. Many of these quasi religious organizations, are comprised of blame shifting people, usually losers and wannabes. They believe that religion provides an easy way of making a living, so they take advantage of the unsuspecting sheep. They fleece the flock through falsehood and false teachings. We are always comparing their doctrines to the truth of Yahweh's word. Many disagreements are found between the various religious groups, except one! They always find a way to teach TITHES AND OFFERINGS without fail! Amazing isn't it? The one common doctrinal agreement rests in MONEY! The unifying factor is CASH MONEY!

What makes someone become a bad mouthing back biting individual? Is it found in location? Is this evil habit a family trait? Some people can never see the good in anything. Some people, although they possess a great deal of self-opinionated knowledge, are enemies of wisdom, and hurl abuse at others who raise their minds above the senses to investigate more noble matters.

These intellectual back-biters imagine that considerations leading human beings to knowledge and possession of eternal things are all useless because they are not confined to increasing his temporal welfare. Their lassitude in shown in certain maxims and opinions which they enunciate as indubitable, and which all begin: 'It is impossible to know' and 'It is impossible to understand'. One very solemn maxim, repeated a thousand times, is this: 'The essence of things cannot be known' and in particular: 'It is impossible to know the essence of the soul.'

The Seven Noahide Laws!

For the readers of Truth On The Net Dot Com, this will be nothing new! The Sanhedrin moves to establish the Noahide Laws for the "Children of Noah" AKA the Noahides. Read the following story for further information.

A council of non-Jewish observers of the Seven Laws of Noah has been selected and will be ordained by the reestablished Sanhedrin in Jerusalem this January.

B'nai Noach, literally "Children of Noah," known as Noahides, are non-Jews who take upon themselves the Torah's obligations for non-Jews - consisting of seven laws passed on from Noah following the flood, as documented in Genesis (see below).

Until now, Noahide communities and organization had been scattered around the globe, with a particular concentration centered around the southern United States. The communities themselves are a relatively recent phenomenon bolstered by the fact that the Internet has allowed individuals sharing Noahide beliefs to get in touch with one another.

The court of 71 rabbis, known as the Sanhedrin, which was reestablished last October in Tiberius following the reinstitution of rabbinic semikha, decided, after numerous requests from the Noahide community, to assist the movement in forming a leadership council.

Rabbi Michael Bar-Ron, with the Sanhedrin's blessing, traveled to the United States to meet with representatives of the Noahide movement and select members for the High Council. Bar-Ron, an ordained student, talmid samukh, who currently sits on the Sanhedrin, is also one of the Sanhedrin's spokesmen.

Bar-Ron organized a small conference in California where six of the council's future members were selected and also addressed the annual convention of the Vendyl Jones Research Institute - one of the Noahide organizations represented on the council. At the VJRI convention, Bar-Ron met five more of the Noahide leaders who will be joining the council.

The purpose of the council, which was the brainchild of Rabbi Avraham Toledano, is to assist the B'nei Noach in their struggle to observe the word of G-d. "The goal is to unify, serve and organize all kosher B'nei Noach communities of the world under a single body that can operate under the direct authority and supervision of the Sanhedrin," the decision to establish the body reads. "To form a vessel through which the Torah, from Zion (via the Sanhedrin) can effectively serve non-Jewish communities around the world."

A third goal of the creation of the High Council and the Sanhedrin's efforts in regard to the Noahide community, is to "transform the Noahide movement from a religious phenomenon - a curiosity many have not heard of - into a powerful international movement that can successfully compete with, and with G-d's help bring about the fall of, any religious movement but the pure authentic faith that was given to humanity through Noach, the father of us all," said emissary Bar-Ron.

To that end, one of the primary functions of the council will be the creation and development of effective outreach materials for the world. Although Judaism does not require or encourage non-Jews to become Jewish, the observance of the Seven Laws of Noah is incumbent upon humanity and widespread observance is to be worked toward, even through active proselytization, something that is anathema to Judaism.

The council is also seeking to identify and contact communities around the world who observe the Seven Laws of Noah in order to invite them to learn more about the movement. B'nei Noach in India and Brazil are already in touch with Noahide leaders.

Asked why the Sanhedrin would reach out to B'nei Noach before concentrating on outreach within the Jewish community, Rabbi Bar-Ron answered: "There was no conscious choice to ignore the issue of outreach toward other Jews, but there is a Torah principle that a mitzva, positive precept, that comes to your hand should be fulfilled first and should not be put off. It happens to be that the group that showed the most outward display of support and genuine concern for the success of the Sanhedrin - contacting us from the very outset - were the B'nei Noach. One of the great responsibilities of the Jewish people is to spread the laws of Noach."

Bar-Ron said he had mixed feelings as he departed for the meetings with the B'nei Noach leaders, as he left the day the forced expulsion of Jews from Gaza began. "I was in such a horrible heart-wrenching pain about leaving - I almost felt like a traitor to our people. But I realized then that although the government was detaching itself from the Land of Israel - a partial annulment of our covenant with G-d, similar to the sin of the ten spies - there is another aspect of the covenant that has not been pursued. That aspect is our obligation to be a nation of priests unto the nations. This is the core of the covenant with Abraham and it is something the Jewish people as a nation has not involved itself in since Second Temple times. So as the government disengaged from the covenant, I was participating in the reengagement with an aspect of the covenant that has been dormant."

Bar-Ron was very impressed with the B'nei Noach leaders he met. "Each of them had a different unique talent. One was an extremely talented media coordinator, two were great scholars of Noahide law, one was secretary of a large successful Noahide community and research institute and one was a law enforcement officer for a number of years. Each had the wisdom and experience that will help them lead the movement.

All of the prospective members of the High Council are obligated to appear in Jerusalem this coming January, at which time they will be ordained by the Sanhedrin as members of the High Council. "One of the things I thought would be more difficult was implementing the fact that the Sanhedrin's steering committee unanimously voted that the High Council members must appear personally before the Sanhedrin to be ordained as such," Bar-Ron said. "But the level of commitment of these people is so high that it is not posing a problem at all.

Each member was screened very carefully and accepted not only on the basis of their high reputation, wisdom and experience - there were many dedicated and talented B'nei Noach who we would have loved to have accepted into the council - but for their role as representatives of entire B'nei Noach communities or as experts in a particularly field.

The acting head of the Sanhedrin, Rabbi Yoel Schwartz, has set up a Beit Din for B'nei Noach to serve the needs of B'nei Noach worldwide. At this point, the council will not serve as a adjudicating body.

"It is our sincere hope that in years to come, the knowledge of the halakha, Torah law, of the Seven Laws of Noach will grow to such a degree that there will be true Noahide judges," Bar-Ron said. "One of the goals is to delineate clearly the seven laws and their applications according to the Mishneh Torah of the Rambam."

"Never before in recorded history have B'nei Noach come together to be ordained by the Sanhedrin for the purpose of spreading Noahide observance of laws," Bar-Ron said. "This is the first critical step of bringing about the ultimate flowering of the brotherhood of mankind envisioned by Noach, the father of mankind."

The Seven Laws of Noah are:

Shefichat damim - Do not murder.
Gezel - Do not steal or kidnap.
Avodah zarah - Do not worship false g-ds/idols.
Gilui arayot - Do not be sexually immoral (engage in incest, sodomy, bestiality, castration and adultery)
Birkat Hashem - Do not utter G-d's name in vain, curse G-d or pursue the occult.
Dinim - Set up righteous and honest courts and apply fair justice in judging offenders and uphold the principles of the last five.
Ever Min HaChai - Do not eat a part of a live animal.

Scientists Unlock the Genetic Code of the 1918 Bird Flu

Health officials worldwide are anxiously watching every case of bird flu. They are afraid the virus will mutate so it could spread from one person to another.

About half the people who have caught the bird flu have died. There is no vaccine and not enough medicine to fight it, which is why some American Army doctors are studying the deadliest flu pandemic in history.

In 1918 a flu virus killed between 20 and 50 million people worldwide.

Andrew Jakomas, a survivor, describes it, "We had little caskets for the little babies that stretched for four and five blocks. Eight high. Ten high."

Why was this flu so deadly, and where did it originate? That's what Dr. Jeffery Taubenberger with the U.S. Armed Forces Institute of Pathology wants to find out. "We want to derive lessons from what we study about the 1918 virus to help us understand how influenza pandemics might form for the future and what we might be able to do to prevent them."

Scientists set out to reconstruct the 1918 virus in the lab. They found tissue samples from World War I soldiers killed by the flu. No one had isolated or saved the 1918 virus. But the U.S. Army saved autopsy tissue from the soldiers, and Dr. Taubenberger said scientists pieced together fragments of the virus and now have sequenced all of its genes. "It's like doing a jigsaw puzzle or putting together a mosaic."

Last year, British scientists discovered how the 1918 virus, also bird flu, was able to spread to humans and explode into an epidemic.

Sir John Skehel heads Britain's National Institute for Medical Research. He said British researchers were able to determine the structure of one of the virus' proteins. "This protein is important because it is involved in sticking the virus to cells. So, for example, when viruses come from birds into humans, this protein has to change a little, so that now, instead of just binding to bird cells, it can also bind to human cells and infect them."

This has not yet happened with the current strains of bird flu, but health officials are concerned that it could.

And chickens and ducks are not the only potential carriers according to Dr. Taubenberger. "There is an enormous reservoir of viruses out there in the world and we are really only at the tip of the iceberg as to how many viruses there are."

Religions can be either Conservative or Liberal in teaching. If you use the Bible as your reference book, interpretations abound according to thought processes. One might teach the laws of the Bible, while another might teach the laws are done away in Messiah! Do we take the Bible literally, or figuratively? Shalom to seekers of truth and purveyors of good will! We are receiving a lot of good questions from Messianic Jews. They are asking very good questions in their quest for truth and salvation.

The first question was concerning the name of Messiah (Moshiach/Mashiach) Yahshua. The reader Davita wants to know why we use the name Yahshua for the Messiah and not Yeshua. When this question was first posed to us a very long time ago, (but not by Davita) we thought it might be a contraction of two names, the first being the Greek name J-sus, and the second Yahshua. The Je from the Greek name merged with the Shua of Messiah's true name, thus rendering the hybrid form Yeshua! The letter J never appears in the Hebrew language. Scholars have known this for centuries!

The individual Davita referenced in this question, was Dr. Daniel Botkin of whom we have quoted in the article Sabbath Breakers Part 1. (Dr. Botkin uses the name Yeshua for Messiah!) At first I opted for the simple answer, but, then realized, that nothing is ever simple, is it? Dr. Botkin is recognized as a Hebrew Scholar in some quarters. Supposedly fluent in Hebrew and the author of "Fluent Biblical Hebrew", however; I may take issue with this evaluation and assessment. After reading his article "The Messiah's Hebrew Name: "Yeshua" or "Yahshua"? I reached the conclusion that he was missing some key points in his dissertation, that being the use of the Hebrew letter mechanics. I believe he has overlooked a very important point in his Hebrew letter pronunciation, the use of the Hebrew letter Wau/Waw.

The difference being between Dr. Botkin's analogy and ours, lies in the transliteration/translation of the wau/waw letter. This letter is considered one of the matris lectiones or vowel letters.

The Hebrew is read from right to left. The vowels are usually directly underneath or above each letter. However, you must also know about the matres lectionis which means vowel letters. These letters when used in the Hebrew text do not need vowels underneath them to be pronounced. You also need to be aware of another Hebrew grammatical necessity and that is the use of a diphthong when two vowel letters appear together within a word.

This is where many quasi Hebrew Scholars become untracked. The use of the V for the W is not from the Hebrew translation. Therefore YHVH is erroneous! If you were to use the vav instead of the wau you would have something like this: Yah/b or v/shua! for Yahshua, or YHVH, Yahveh for Yahweh!

Reading from right to left you encounter the first letter, yothe. This is translated/transliterated or brought across as the English letter Y.

The next letter is the He letter. This is brought across as the English letter H.

The next letter is the wau. And why it CANNOT be vav, is found in the translation/transliteration. Used in this configuration it becomes a diphthong. Now let me explain the use of a diphthong in the Hebrew language.

You also need to be aware of another Hebrew grammatical necessity and that is the use of a diphthong when two vowel letters appear together within a word.

The next letter in the Savior's Name is the Hebrew letter shin (pronounced sheen). The ש is brought across as the letter S with an Sh sound. The final letter used is the ayin. This letter comes across with the ah sound in this application. The ayin is one of the laryngeals in the Hebrew language. So! Now you have the name Yahshua in the correct transliterated form.

Above you note two forms of the Hebrew name Yahshua (Joshua in the KJV). The one on the extreme left has a letter known as a sureg (one of the matris lectionis now being used as the vowel letter U).

Why can't it be Yeshua? Because there is no indication of who Salvation is referencing to. "He will save" (His people). Who will save His people? This of course is indicating Yahweh will save. Yah the short or poetic form of the Heavenly Father's Name coupled with Shua, meaning salvation, this equals He=Yahweh, will save=Shua, His people. Connected we see Yahshua, meaning Yahweh is Salvation. There is no connection with Yeshua at all! Ye=? shua=salvation What saves with this connotation? Absolutely nothing!!!

(And don't tell me you can use just the yothe preceding the shua rendering it ישׁוּע ) Y'shua.

This amounts to the Jewish prohibition of not using the yothe and he together, (even numerically) to equal 15 because of the prohibition against using the Sacred Name in any form!

In the correct grammitical translation/transliteration this is defined as follows: The yothe י from Yahweh's Name was attached to Hoshea's name rendering it YAHSHUA. Now, Yahshua the General led the children of Israel into the promised land, and, Yahshua the Messiah will do exactly the same! The parallels must match exactly. This proves to be very prophetic!

I do not want to neglect the V sound in the Hebrew. This comes from the Bêth letter usually translated as B. (The V sound arrives from the softened form (undageshed form) of the letter B= beth.) However, this also is subject to text, as sometimes this becomes a B with the insertion of a dagesh punctuation mark in the bosum of the beth letter. This give the letter a hard sound or B. However, some many argue, this is only a question of semantics. Not where the Sacred Names are concerned!

Despite the attempt to dodge the impact of Hurricane Wilma by changing the dates for the annual Fantasy Fest, the storm has deluged any hopes for the homosexual debauchery party this week, and could force a complete cancellation.

The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled yesterday against parents who sued their local school district after their elementary-age children were given a sexually charged survey, saying there is "no fundamental right of parents to be the exclusive provider of information regarding sexual matters to their children."

The three-judge panel of the full court further ruled that parents "have no due process or privacy right to override the determinations of public schools as to the information to which their children will be exposed while enrolled as students."

Six parents sued the Palmdale, Calif., School District after finding out their kids had been asked a series of sexual questions in class. They included asking the children about the frequency of:

Touching my private parts too much
Thinking about having sex

Thinking about touching other people's private parts

Thinking about sex when I don't want to

Washing myself because I feel dirty on the inside

Not trusting people because they might want sex

Getting scared or upset when I think about sex

Having sex feelings in my body

Can't stop thinking about sex

Getting upset when people talk about sex

Judge Stephen Reinhardt wrote the opinion for the court [[.pdf document].]. Referring to the fact the parents lost their case at the district-court level, Reinhardt wrote:

We agree [with the previous ruling], and hold that there is no fundamental right of parents to be the exclusive provider of information regarding sexual matters to their children, either independent of their right to direct the upbringing and education of their children or encompassed by it. We also hold that parents have no due process or privacy right to override the determinations of public schools as to the information to which their children will be exposed while enrolled as students. Finally, we hold that the defendants' actions were rationally related to a legitimate state purpose. [emphasis Reinhardt's].
Carrie Gordon Earll is director of issue analysis with Focus on the Family Action.

"Anyone who wonders why pro-family organizations like ours have been so concerned about activist courts only has to look at this case," Earll said in a statement. "The 9th Circuit did more than rule against parents who were upset that their elementary-school-aged children were being asked explicit questions about sex in class. They told all parents they have no right to protest what public schools tell their children."

Continued Earll: "What the court did here is declare parenthood unconstitutional. It's long been the liberal view that it takes a village to raise a child – but never before have the 'villagers' been elevated, as a matter of law, above mothers and fathers."

The controversy began in 2001 when a volunteer "mental health counselor" at Mesquite Elementary School set out to conduct a psychological assessment test of students in the first, third and fifth grades.

A letter to parents asked for their consent to conduct the study but did not indicate that questions of a sexual nature would be asked. The survey included 79 questions divided into four parts. Ten of those questions were of a sexual nature.

According to the court's opinion, the plaintiffs took action after their children participated in the survey and later told their parents about the sexual questions. Seeking damages and injunctive relief, the parents charged the district violated their federal constitutional right to privacy.

The lower court had ruled against the parents, saying the right "to control the upbringing of their children by introducing them to matters of and relating to sex in accordance with their personal and religious values and beliefs" does not rise to the level of a fundamental right protected by substantive due process.

Wrote Reinhardt: "As with all constitutional rights, the right of parents to make decisions concerning the care, custody and control of their children is not without limitations. In Prince v. Massachusetts, 321 U.S. 158 (1944), the Court recognized that parents' liberty interest in the custody, care and nurture of their children resides 'first' in the parents, but does not reside there exclusively, nor is it 'beyond regulation [by the state] in the public interest.' For example, the state 'as parens patriae' may restrict parents' interest in the custody, care and nurture of their children 'by requiring school attendance, regulating or prohibiting the child's labor and in many other ways.'"

Reinhardt also cited previous cases that upheld the right of schools to educate children about issues of sexuality.

However, please do this peacefully! Do not take up any arms against the Government in any way! Write your Senators, write your Congressmen, write your State and Local officials. Let them know that you are opposed to these evil rulings. Put your children in schools that do not practice such things! Perhaps a private school would be possible. I know it costs money for something like this, but it will be worth the cost in the long run! Perhaps you can home school your children! Perhaps you can form a private association that several families can join. Then you can start your own schooling processes. Be active in your children's affairs, because they are the future. Before our very eyes we can see the harvest of illiteracy. Our Judges are corrupt! Our School Teachers are stupid! Our Colleges are hotbeds of iniquity, and the list goes on! Religions have failed to correctly educate the people. Religion is rapidly being removed from the public eye... Pathetic to say the least!

THE arguments over Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction have entered a new phase, after Tony Blair’s admission that none of his officials had told him whether the Government’s dossier was referring to battlefield or longer-range systems.

The apparent confusion is not just about politics. It is a question of definition, experts said yesterday: when is a weapon one of mass destruction?

Experts who have studied this subject during and after the Cold War accept that the definition has become more flexible since the days when weapons of mass destruction meant an attack by dozens of Soviet intercontinental ballistic missiles with nuclear warheads, capable of causing millions of deaths. Today the acronym WMD appears to mean different things to different people.

Experts say that battlefield artillery shells, mortars, short-range rockets or other systems fitted with nuclear, chemical, biological or radiological warheads can all be classed as weapons of mass destruction under the more liberal definition accepted today.

There are two common denominators that have survived the Cold War: by definition, today’s WMD systems in the hands of rogue or potentially hostile states have to be weapons fitted with nuclear, chemical or biological warheads, and the intention of the attacker, whether using short-range or long-range systems, would be to have a strategic impact. In other words, the launching of chemical artillery shells or the dropping of bombs containing biological agents would have consequences far outweighing the size and effectiveness of the weapons themselves.

The decision by Saddam to launch Scuds armed with chemical warheads against Iran in the 1980s killed thousands, but it also transformed that conflict between neighbors into a far more dangerous regional war and stirred the Iraqi dictator to develop even more deadly weapons.

Even conventional weapons can have a strategic impact. Saddam did not have the capability to launch medium-range missiles with chemical or biological warheads beyond his borders last year, but he did attack Kuwait with al-Samoud missiles, with conventional explosives. They caused little damage but the effect among Kuwaitis turned them into weapons of mass panic.

So! Chemical weapons are listed as weapons of mass destruction? Yes! Chemical weapons can kill literally thousands of people very quickly! Iraq had chemical weapons! They used them against Iran and this is documented! I posted this information previously in the Hawke File.

No Apostles Today!

If you study this out you will arrive at the same conclusion that many others have! Paul was an Apostle!

Those Little White Lies?

Why is it, that people can tell falsehoods so effortlessly? Whatever happened to honesty? Has the world lost all desire for absolute truth? So many Chr--tians profess to "knowing Him", do they really?

There are literally hundreds of prevarications being told on a daily basis. From Politicians to Ministers, lies flow effortlessly from their lips! Should Politicians always tell the truth? What about Ministers who preach from the Bible? Should they always be truthful? Yes on both accords! Truth should always be on the lips of all people.

What about saving people from panic situations? Should the public be informed about food shortages? Water shortages? Total destruction from a star crashing into planet earth? Can the general public handle the bad news along with the good?

The general public has been deceived for so long, the lines between truth and lies has become obfuscated. Afraid of creating panic on a large scale, government leadership is less than willing to be truthful. What if they find out the real truth behind these problems? What will they do when they find out all of their money is gone? What will they do when they find out the situation is far worse than anyone ever thought it would be? What about their retirement money? What will they do when they find out there is nothing left for them to retire on? And? This is a real world situation!

Many news articles over the recent years reveal the facts, that pension plans are no longer existent in many companies. Those pension funds proved to be too much of a temptation. Those with access, tapped the funds for their own personal use. Some of those pension funds were invested in worthless schemes that fell flat. These schemes left the investors with no way to return the money to the rightful owners, the pensioners! Money was taken from the employees pay (and many times the amount was also matched by their employers) for their retirement. Now? They have nothing to retire on! Well? You might think there's always Social Security! Well! These funds are also being diminished by thieves and tarnished politicians. You may not have this to rely on as a retirement option either!

Is the country known as America a free country? Are there allegiances to European countries currently? If you do a historical background on the United States of America, you could conceivably build a case for America still being under the control of foreign entities. Would you believe England being the major country that claims, (by some) and still has, (according to some,) control over America by legal rights?

Should America be leading the charge against terrorism? Should the Allied forces even be in Iraq? Afghanistan? Syria? Yes, by all means we should be leading the charge! He ordered the deaths of nearly 77 Million of his fellow countrymen. This figure surpasses that of Joseph Stalin's and Adolph Hitler's body count. According to the statistics Stalin's count was around 61,911,000 while Hitler's body count was calculated to be 20,946,000. The combined totals for all three Despot Dictators is almost 169,000,000 people wiped off the face of the earth.

With the Allied forces, and the United States of America leading the charge, another Despot Dictator was toppled in Iraq. This evil dictator's atrocities have now become known to the world. If evil despots like Saddam Hussein were allowed to continue, who knows what the body count would be? Saddam Hussein is responsible for many deaths while he was Iraq's leader. The final count is yet to be totaled. Some estimates have it at over 500,000. Saddam gassed and murdered his own people over the years. If this evil dictator was not stopped? Who knows the final death count.

MIXING ANIMAL WITH HUMANS?

And it repented Yahweh that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

Animal-Human Hybrids Spark Controversy

Scientists have begun blurring the line between human and animal by producing chimeras—a hybrid creature that's part human, part animal.

Chinese scientists at the Shanghai Second Medical University in 2003 successfully fused human cells with rabbit eggs. The embryos were reportedly the first human-animal chimeras successfully created. They were allowed to develop for several days in a laboratory dish before the scientists destroyed the embryos to harvest their stem cells.

In Minnesota last year researchers at the Mayo Clinic created pigs with human blood flowing through their bodies.

And at Stanford University in California an experiment might be done later this year to create mice with human brains.

Scientists feel that, the more humanlike the animal, the better research model it makes for testing drugs or possibly growing "spare parts," such as livers, to transplant into humans.

Watching how human cells mature and interact in a living creature may also lead to the discoveries of new medical treatments.

But creating human-animal chimeras—named after a monster in Greek mythology that had a lion's head, goat's body, and serpent's tail—has raised troubling questions: What new subhuman combination should be produced and for what purpose? At what point would it be considered human? And what rights, if any, should it have?

There are currently no U.S. federal laws that address these issues.

Ethical Guidelines

The National Academy of Sciences, which advises the U.S. government, has been studying the issue. In March it plans to present voluntary ethical guidelines for researchers.

A chimera is a mixture of two or more species in one body. Not all are considered troubling, though.

For example, faulty human heart valves are routinely replaced with ones taken from cows and pigs. The surgery—which makes the recipient a human-animal chimera—is widely accepted. And for years scientists have added human genes to bacteria and farm animals.

What's caused the uproar is the mixing of human stem cells with embryonic animals to create new species.

Biotechnology activist Jeremy Rifkin is opposed to crossing species boundaries, because he believes animals have the right to exist without being tampered with or crossed with another species.

He concedes that these studies would lead to some medical breakthroughs. Still, they should not be done.

"There are other ways to advance medicine and human health besides going out into the strange, brave new world of chimeric animals," Rifkin said, adding that sophisticated computer models can substitute for experimentation on live animals.

"One doesn't have to be religious or into animal rights to think this doesn't make sense," he continued. "It's the scientists who want to do this. They've now gone over the edge into the pathological domain."

David Magnus, director of the Stanford Center for Biomedical Ethics at Stanford University, believes the real worry is whether or not chimeras will be put to uses that are problematic, risky, or dangerous.

Human Born to Mice Parents?

For example, an experiment that would raise concerns, he said, is genetically engineering mice to produce human sperm and eggs, then doing in vitro fertilization to produce a child whose parents are a pair of mice.

"Most people would find that problematic," Magnus said, "but those uses are bizarre and not, to the best of my knowledge, anything that anybody is remotely contemplating. Most uses of chimeras are actually much more relevant to practical concerns."

Last year Canada passed the Assisted Human Reproduction Act, which bans chimeras. Specifically, it prohibits transferring a nonhuman cell into a human embryo and putting human cells into a nonhuman embryo.

Cynthia Cohen is a member of Canada's Stem Cell Oversight Committee, which oversees research protocols to ensure they are in accordance with the new guidelines.

She believes a ban should also be put into place in the U.S.

Creating chimeras, she said, by mixing human and animal gametes (sperms and eggs) or transferring reproductive cells, diminishes human dignity.

"It would deny that there is something distinctive and valuable about human beings that ought to be honored and protected," said Cohen, who is also the senior research fellow at Georgetown University's Kennedy Institute of Ethics in Washington, D.C.

But, she noted, the wording on such a ban needs to be developed carefully. It shouldn't outlaw ethical and legitimate experiments—such as transferring a limited number of adult human stem cells into animal embryos in order to learn how they proliferate and grow during the prenatal period.

Irv Weissman, director of Stanford University's Institute of Cancer/Stem Cell Biology and Medicine in California, is against a ban in the United States.

"Anybody who puts their own moral guidance in the way of this biomedical science, where they want to impose their will—not just be part of an argument—if that leads to a ban or moratorium. … they are stopping research that would save human lives," he said.

Mice With Human Brains

Weissman has already created mice with brains that are about one percent human.

Later this year he may conduct another experiment where the mice have 100 percent human brains. This would be done, he said, by injecting human neurons into the brains of embryonic mice.

Before being born, the mice would be killed and dissected to see if the architecture of a human brain had formed. If it did, he'd look for traces of human cognitive behavior.

Weissman said he's not a mad scientist trying to create a human in an animal body. He hopes the experiment leads to a better understanding of how the brain works, which would be useful in treating diseases like Alzheimer's or Parkinson's disease.

The test has not yet begun. Weissman is waiting to read the National Academy's report, due out in March.

William Cheshire, associate professor of neurology at the Mayo Clinic's Jacksonville, Florida, branch, feels that combining human and animal neurons is problematic.

"This is unexplored biologic territory," he said. "Whatever moral threshold of human neural development we might choose to set as the limit for such an experiment, there would be a considerable risk of exceeding that limit before it could be recognized."

Cheshire supports research that combines human and animal cells to study cellular function. As an undergraduate he participated in research that fused human and mouse cells.

But where he draws the ethical line is on research that would destroy a human embryo to obtain cells, or research that would create an organism that is partly human and partly animal.

"We must be cautious not to violate the integrity of humanity or of animal life over which we have a stewardship responsibility," said Cheshire, a member of Christian Medical and Dental Associations. "Research projects that create human-animal chimeras risk disturbing fragile ecosystems, endanger health, and affront species integrity."

SAN FRANCISCO - Add another creation to the strange scientific menagerie where animal species are being mixed together in ever more exotic combinations. Scientists announced Monday that they had created mice with small amounts of human brain cells in an effort to make realistic models of neurological disorders such as Parkinson's disease.

Led by Fred Gage of the Salk Institute in San Diego, the researchers created the mice by injecting about 100,000 human embryonic stem cells per mouse into the brains of 14-day-old rodent embryos.

Those mice were each born with about 0.1 percent of human cells in each of their heads, a trace amount that doesn't remotely come close to "humanizing" the rodents.

"This illustrate that injecting human stem cells into mouse brains doesn't restructure the brain," Gage said.

Still, the work adds to the growing ethical concerns of mixing human and animal cells when it comes to stem cell and cloning research. After all, mice are 97.5 percent genetically identical to humans.

"The worry is if you humanize them too much you cross certain boundaries," said David Magnus, director of the Stanford Medical Center for Biomedical Ethics. "But I don't think this research comes even close to that."

Researchers are nevertheless beginning to bump up against what bioethicists call the "yuck factor."

Three top cloning researchers, for instance, have applied for a patent that contemplates fusing a complete set of human DNA into animal eggs in order to manufacturer human embryonic stem cells.

One of the patent applicants, Jose Cibelli, first attempted such an experiment in 1998 when he fused cells from his cheek into cow eggs.

"The idea is to hijack the machinery of the egg," said Cibelli, whose current work at Michigan State University does not involve human material because that would violate state law.

Researchers argue that co-mingling human and animal tissue is vital to ensuring that experimental drugs and new tissue replacement therapies are safe for people.

Others have performed similar experiments with rabbit and chicken eggs while University of California-Irvine researchers have reported making paralyzed rodents walk after injecting them with human nerve cells.

Doctors have transplanted pig valves into human hearts for years, and scientists have injected human cells into lab animals for even longer. But the brain poses an additional level of concern because some envision nightmare scenarios in which a human mind might be trapped in an animal head.

"Human diseases, such as Parkinson's disease, might be amenable to stem cell therapy, and it is conceivable, although unlikely, that an animal's cognitive abilities could also be affected by such therapy," a report issued in April by the influential National Academies of Science that sought to draw some ethical research boundaries.

So the report recommended that such work be allowed, but with strict ethical guidelines established.

"Protocols should be reviewed to ensure that they take into account those sorts of possibilities and that they include ethically sensitive plans to manage them if they arise," the report concluded.

At the same time, the report did endorse research that co-mingles human and animal tissue as vital to ensuring that experimental drugs and new tissue replacement therapies are safe for people.

Gage said the work published Monday in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences is another step in overcoming one of the biggest technical hurdles confronting stem cell researchers: when exactly to inject the cells into patients.

The results suggest that human embryonic stem cells, once injected into people, will mature into the cells that surround them. No known human has ever received an injection of embryonic stem cells because so little is known about how those cells will mature once inside the body.

For now, Gage said his work is more geared toward understanding disease than to finding a cure.

"It's a way for us to begin to tease out the way these diseases develop," Gage said.

Human embryonic stem cells are created in the first days after conception and give rise to all the organs and tissues in the human body. Scientists hope they can someday use stem cells to replace diseased tissue. But many social conservatives, including President Bush, oppose the work because embryos are destroyed during research.

Stem cell researchers argue that mixing human and animal cells is the only way to advance the field because it's far too risky to experiment on people; so little is known about stem cells.

"The experiments have to be done, which does mean human cells into non-human cells," said Dr. Evan Snyder, a stem cell researcher at the Burnham Institute in San Diego. "You don't work out the issues on your child or your grandmother. You want to work this out in an animal first."

Snyder is injecting human embryonic stem cells into monkeys and is convinced that there's little danger.

"It's true that there is a huge amount of similarity, but the difference are huge," Snyder said. "You will never ever have a little human trapped inside a mouse or monkey's body."

Chapter 1
Orwell’s 1984 opens in London, now a part of the country Oceania. The whole globe is divided into three countries, Oceania, Eurasia and Eastasia all perpetually at war with each other. The leading protagonist Winston Smith enters his flat in the dingy building ironically named Victory Mansions and is immediately conscious of the poster of “Big Brother” with the inscription “Big Brother is Watching You.” The “Party” has taken over all aspects of life and is intent on eradicating individuality. Winston is painfully aware of the telescreen, which is both a receiver and transmitter at the same time. It incessantly relays messages from the Party and simultaneously allows the dreaded “thought police” to tune into the activities of any individual at any given time. The administration is divided among four Ministries- the Ministry of Truth, which deals with news, entertainment, education and fine arts, the Ministry of Love which maintains law and order, the Ministry of Peace which wages war and the Ministry of Plenty which handles economic affairs. The very vocabulary of the people was under Party Control; a system called “newspeak” was encouraged. One of the most dreaded words in the arsenal of Newspeak was the most heinous offence according to the Party – that of “thoughtcrime” which was sure to be punished by the Thought police. The slogans of Newspeak are “War is Peace” Freedom is Slavery” and “Ignorance is Strength.”
Winston pretended to toe the official line so as to dodge the thought police but terrifyingly, the pretence often spilled over into reality, so that he did not always know if he actually hated or adored Big Brother. On this particular day, Winston was planning to indulge in a clandestine activity which would mean at least a concentration camp if discovered- he was going to keep a diary. He enters the date – April 4, 1984 and then realizes that he was completely stuck for words. He finally puts down a long monologue about the film he had watched the day before, a war propaganda film positively encouraging the audience to delight in sights of macabre, mindless slaughter.
From his memories of the film, Winston’s thoughts move on to a daily ritual, which was conducted in each office, the “two minute Hate.” During this process, the telescreens broadcast pictures of Emmanuel Goldstein, the Number One “Enemy of the People” according to the Party. Goldstein had originally been a founding member of the Party and was supposed to have later betrayed the Party’s ideals and joined up with Eurasia or Eastasia to overthrow Oceania. He was rumored to have written an inflammatory work, usually referred to just as “the book” and to be the Head of a dangerous subversive group called “The Brotherhood”. During the “Hate” people watched the speeches of Goldstein and reacted in violent anger. Winston himself often started out by dissembling his emotions, but the effect of the collective frenzy was such that after about thirty seconds, he found himself actually feeling the power of Hate.
However, sometimes Winston felt that he sympathized with Goldstein and hated Big Brother. As he recollected the ritual of Hate, Winston almost automatically writes “Down with Big Brother” repeatedly in his diary. He does this with the fatalistic conviction that even if he did not write it down, he had already committed thoughtcrime and the thought police would get him sooner or later. As if in confirmation of this, there is a knock at the door, which Winston is convinced heralds the arrival of the thought police.

This book depicts the spying of Government ("Big Brother") on all people. With the available technology, spying is rather easy to say the least. Nothing is absolutely safe from prying eyes anymore. Introduction

The inspiration for this article came mainly from official information about protection measures by the German Federal Office for Information Security.

1. Binoculars

Visually observed speech can be read using the Lip Reading skill. Spotting observing binoculars requires a Vision roll (often also aided by binoculars) with the normal vision modifiers for small size, range, bad visibility, darkness and concealment (e.g. the binocular can be hidden behind a tinted window, mirror, curtain or camouflage veil). But the unwanted observer is also hindered by most of the same vision modifiers. The recent anti-sniper laser systems are able to detect optical systems (e.g. telescopic rifle sights or binoculars) by analyzing their laser reflection. If such a system is available detection requires one successful Electronics Operation (Sensors) roll for every binocular.

2. Bugs

Small concealable, voice-activated microphones, sometimes with digital recording and burst radio transmission, or with immediate transmission are called "bugs". A good state-of-the-art bug detector and a successful roll against SIGINT Collection/Jamming or Electronic Operation (Sensors) will find a bug with a slow and thorough examination of the area.

3. Camcorder

Electronic imaging and recording devices have uses and weaknesses similar to binoculars. On the down side may be the time lag when the recorded information is analyzed some time after recording. This can be avoided by instantly transmitting the signal via radio, laser or cable. The last methods are preferable because radio transmissions can be detected passively. On the upside of camcorders are the much reduced size compared to an observer with binoculars and the possibility to install the camcorder at hard-to-reach hidden locations. To spot observing camcorders requires a Vision roll (often also aided by binoculars) with the normal vision modifiers for small size, range, bad visibility, darkness and concealment (e.g. the camcorder can be hidden behind a tinted window, mirror, curtain or camouflage veil). But the camcorder is also hindered by most of the same vision modifiers (darkness can be canceled by electronic light intensification and infrared imaging). The recent anti-sniper laser systems are able to detect optical systems (e.g. telescopic rifle sights, camcorders or binoculars) by analyzing their laser reflection. If such a system is available detection requires one successful Electronics Operation (Sensors) roll for every camcorder.

4. Computer Taps

If an interested party had access to your computer it might have "upgraded" it with unwanted features. Think about that.
The computer can be modified to act as a camera, microphone or it can collect information stored on its dives or transmitted through the network it is connected to (not necessarily information intended for this particular computer within the network). Whatever the information, it can be stored (e.g. in a dedicated "extra-memory"), compressed, encrypted and transmitted by various means. Useful channels include telecommunication lines, electric power lines, data network lines, radio broadcast, printed documents (e.g. by slightly changing the letters in a text) and publicly displayed information (e.g. as in an airport display, or a customer information terminal). To detect unwanted data processing in a computer is very hard (Electronic Operation [Computers] -8). To physically detect any unusual modifications is sometimes impossible since with certain systems no physical modifications are needed. Most "multimedia" computers already have anything onboard that is required to turn them into instruments of surveillance. To detect unusual data transmissions requires TEMPEST equipment and a roll against Electronics Operations (Sensors).

5. Eavesdropping

The old-fashioned but still working way to gather intelligence. No electronic sensors can detect compromised loyalties. Possibly unreliable persons should not be allowed unobserved near sensitive information (e.g. for cleaning or maintenance). And carriers of said information should never discuss them outside of secured areas (e.g. in the cantina).

6. Electric Power Line Bugs

A bug does not have to use radio for transmission. It can use the normal electric power distribution network to send information "backwards" to outside receivers. The bug itself can be hidden in plain power lines, sockets or small transformers (e.g. for connecting laptops or battery chargers to power outlets). To detect an electric power line bug requires appropriate equipment and a roll against Electronics Operations (Sensors).

7. Electromagnetic Induction

Without going to deep into physics it is safe to assume that each two electrically conducting wires that run parallel and more or less close influence each other by electromagnetic induction. This effect is well known from older analog telephone lines as the faint voices sometimes audible in the background. Most communication cables are bundled in cable tubes, sometimes parallel to power lines. Depending on the used cable type, the distance, the length of the parallel section, and the type of signal transmitted through the first cable, it is often possible to detect, filter and enhance the induced signal from the second cable. If, for instance, digital information from a computer network cable is induced into an analog telephone line or a simple power cable, it will not be immediately obvious as a security breach. If a cable leaves a secure zone after running in parallel for at least two yards to a cable transmitting sensitive information this information may be extracted with specialized equipment not larger than a laptop computer. Use Electronic Operations (Sensors) skill to operate said equipment. And aside from physically stumbling over someone operating this equipment and recognizing what he is up to, there is no way to detect this kind of surveillance.

8. Electronic or Acoustic Stethoscopes

Using an electronic or acoustic stethoscope is technically augmented eavesdropping. Like next to all other electronic equipment, electronic stethoscopes get smaller, better and less expensive all the time. The sensor (microphone) of such a device might look like any plane item (e.g. a picture or sign). Linking a stethoscope to a bug lets it function through at least one yard of solid structure. If this structure is shielding electromagnetic waves this makes it considerably harder to detect the electronic stethoscope (and bug); all detection rolls are at -1 to -4 (GMs decision). It is impossible to detect the use of an acoustic stethoscope other than finding it with a physical search.

9. Fiber-Optic Scopes

These can see into a room from any very small spot. They have similar uses like binoculars and camcorders. The optic cable transmits the picture either to an outside monitor or to a recorder. Of course, the signal can be transformed into radio signals or beamed laser communication to bypass outside security. Speech can be read by Lip Reading skill or a laser microphone can be combined with the fiber-optic scope. Other visual information like computer screens, hardcopies, or the filmed typing on a keyboard may also be of use. With the creative use of reflective surfaces, zoom and image enhancing software amazing results can be achieved.
To detect fiber-optic scopes requires a Vision roll at -12 during a very thorough examination of the area. This is complicated by the fact that fiber-optic scopes are mostly installed at hard-to-reach and/or hidden locations, like in ceiling structures or behind mirrors.
The recent anti-sniper laser systems are able to detect optical systems (e.g. telescopic rifle sights, camcorders, fiber-optic scopes or binoculars) by analyzing their laser reflection. If such a system is available detection requires one successful Electronics Operation (Sensors) roll for every scope.

10. High-Frequency Modulation

Since the early fifties the worlds secret intelligence organizations use high-frequency modulation for surveillance. This technique requires no inside power source and is very hard to detect because it lacks any microphones or circuits. An outside HF-transmitter targets a strategically placed small device, that modulates this wave by passively vibrating the reflecting antenna cylinder in correspondence to surrounding sound waves. To detect active HF modulation requires a bug detector and a roll against Electronic Operations (Sensors). To detect the small reflector device when it is not reflecting requires the same roll at -4. Note that the active part is always the outside HF-transmitter, not the reflector device.

11. Laser Microphones

By picking up invisible laser reflections from vibrating surfaces like windows these devices can read sound over long distances. Detecting a laser microphone is possible with a laser detector and roll at 2 against Electronic Operation (Sensors) skill, but the detector has to be directly in the path of the laser beam or it needs a line of sight to the reflecting surface.

12. Long-Range Microphones

By collecting and concentrating sound with parabolic dishes these microphones can produce useable results at over 2,000 yards. Modern ones use electronic filtering programs to eliminate background noise. A long-range microphone may be spotted with the normal vision modifiers for small size, range, bad visibility, darkness and concealment (e.g. the microphone can be hidden behind a curtain or camouflage veil).

13. Microphones

Any microphone or speaker already in a room can be modified to transmit sound through existing wires or a dedicated very thin wire to an outside recorder or listener. Or a very small microphone is placed in the room exclusively for that purpose. Other good places for microphones are ventilation ducts, heating or water tubes, at a position not necessarily close to the target room because these ducts and tubes carry sound very well over long distances. A good state-of-the-art bug detector and a successful roll against Electronic Operation (Sensors) skill will find them with a slow and thorough examination of the area where the bug is placed.

14. Phone Taps

Even an inactive phone, if modified to do so, can transmit sound using the standard phone cable. It draws power from the same cable and can run indefinitely that way. Modern electronic phones can contain built-in taps that are only detectable with a complete tool set or bug detector and a roll versus Electronic Operation (Communications) or Electronic Operations (Sensors). More simple taps may be detected by visual inspection of the telephones inside hardware and a roll against Electronic Operation (Communications) -4. A phone tap does not need to be inside the phone itself, but can also sit in the phone socket in the wall or anywhere along the line.

15. Revealing Acoustic Emissions

Recording and processing acoustic emissions other than plain speech is a combination technique. Some printers make distinctive (ultrasound) noises during printing. These are directly correspondent to the information that is printed. If recorded, this printing noise can be used to reconstruct the printed information, using computer programs. Other simple examples of revealing noises are the dialing sounds of telephones, especially if using loudspeakers. Anyone listening can reconstruct the dialed numbers. Listening to acoustic emissions is done by one of the above mentioned ways: by bug; by computer tap; by stethoscope; by HF modulation; by laser microphone; by microphone; or by phone tap.

16. Revealing Electromagnetic Emissions

TEMPEST gear (short for Transient ElectroMagnetic Pulse Emission Scanning Technology) reads the radio frequency emissions of computer monitors or printers and translates them back into readable information. TEMPEST gear has grown smaller, better and cheaper in the last years. Portable equipment, not larger than a laptop computer plus hand-held parabolic antenna is already available. The only protection against TEMPEST gear is a closed faraday cage and/or electronic shielding of all emitting equipment. But since any conductor functions as an antenna, radio frequency emissions may bypass a faraday cage and electronic shielding simply by "riding" power lines or communication lines. There is no way to detect TEMPEST surveillance. The best defense besides faraday cages and electronic shielding is distance. Keep any potential scanners as far away from your computers and printers as possible.

17. TV-Receiver Bugs

Any receiver antenna can be used to transmit as well. A television receiver antenna is a nice way to send a very long ranged signal, compared to the miniature antennas of most other radio emitting bugs. The television set also has a ready power input and a speaker or speaker system that can be used as a microphone with little modification. Even placing a camera is no big deal inside some television sets. Detection is complicated by the fact that microphone and antenna are separated and that TV antennas are frequently at hard to reach outside positions. But a good state-of-the-art bug detector and a successful roll against Electronic Operation (Sensors) -2 will find a TV-receiver bug.

18. Cellular Phones

A cellular phone can compromise acoustic information even if turned of. Depending on model some cellular phones can be silently activated from the outside. This allows to initiate transmission of everything audible within the range of the phone's microphone. The only fairly secure way to prevent this is to remove the batteries from the phone. This will not work if the phone has been modified (e.g. upgraded with a second hidden power source) to prevent this. Any transmitting phone can be detected with suitable equipment and a successful SIGINT Collection/Jamming, Electronic Operations [Sensors] or Electronics Operation [Communications] roll.

Carnivore is a name given to a system implemented by the Federal Bureau of Investigation that is analogous to wiretapping except in this case it is email that is being tapped instead of telephone conversations. It is a form of policeware.

U.S. Government officials will confirm or deny little about the physical or logical workings of Carnivore, but there are some basic facts that are generally agreed upon:

In order to be affected, a computer must be temporarily connected to a computer physically installed at an internet service provider (ISP) or other location where it can "sniff" traffic on a LAN segment to look for email messages in transit. The technology itself is nothing really special — using a standard packet sniffer and some fairly straightforward filtering (such as a Perl script), one could easily duplicate this functionality. Getting the cooperation of the ISPs or the owner of the LAN onto which Carnivore is to be placed can either be voluntary, illegal, or by court order; however, once a system is in place it is allegedly not allowed to simply capture every email that passes through the system — by existing U.S. law publicly acknowledged USG personnel are required to get a warrant or court order naming specific people or email addresses that may be monitored. Some sovereign U.S. citizens and others around the world are concerned that this requirement is sometimes or routinely secretly ignored, effectively moving the United States of America dangerously towards the cultural standards of a police state or totalitarian military dictatorship. When an email passes through that matches the filtering criteria mandated by the warrant, the message is logged along with information on the date, time, origin and destination. This logging is most likely relayed in real time to the FBI but the details are not currently known. All other traffic would presumably be dropped without logging or capture.

There is much speculation and concern regarding the implementation, usage, and possible abuses of Carnivore. Free speech advocates and others interested in civil rights are concerned over the potential for misuse.

It starts when a song, movie, or TV show “pushes the envelope” of acceptable morals and good taste. They usually do this to get noticed and it usually works. Then another goes a little further, so they can get noticed. Then someone else really goes for it (think, Madonna, Britney Spears , or Janet Jackson at the Superbowl). Before we realize it, the immoral borders we thought they would never cross now have become the “norm.”

Do you remember when “Three’s Company” was considered risqué because two young women had a man as a roommate? They had to pretend that he was a homosexual so the landlord would accept their situation. Today, however, nearly every program on television has couples living together outside of marriage and no one thinks twice about it. And many of those portray homosexuality as normal. We’ve come a long way in the past few years, haven’t we?

Think about the first time you heard profanity in a movie. Did it shock you? Now we hear profanity every night on television and excuse it by saying “all the shows have it.” Do you remember the first time you saw a sex scene in a movie? Were you offended and embarrassed? If not, you were probably surprised. Now, we’re surprised if a movie doesn’t have a sex scene –even a TV movie! I’m sure you could think of similar examples.

Analyzing Al's article, we find several items of interest.

Pushing the envelope with songs, movies, TV shows.
Introducing the new acceptable living together styles.
Inserting homosexuality as acceptable.
Living together outside of marriage.
Accepting profanity as normal conversation.

The continuing onslaught of perversion being displayed, eventually breaks down the viewers resistance to a natural rejection, into acceptance with prolonged viewing. This is the psychological approach to mind acceptance. Viewing someone being brutally murdered for the first time fills the viewer with horror! After seeing several of these scenes depicted in movies and on TV, the viewer is no longer shocked by the brutality of this heinous crime!

Now to really sell perversion, Hollywood needs an acceptable character or figure to attach itself to. Something we can associate with! Something we consider an icon of long standing! Now? What would that be? Cute little cartoon characters? Little talking babies? Beautiful people? What? "Brokeback Mountain," the controversial "gay cowboy" film that has garnered seven Golden Globe nominations and breathless media reviews – and has now emerged as a front-runner for the Oscars – is a brilliant propaganda film, reportedly causing viewers to change the way they feel about homosexual relationships and same-sex marriage.

And how do the movie-makers pull off such a dazzling feat? Simple. They do it by raping the "Marlboro Man," that revered American symbol of rugged individualism and masculinity.

We all know the Marlboro Man. In "The Marketing of Evil," I show how the Philip Morris Company made marketing history by taking one of the most positive American images of all time – the cowboy – and attaching it to a negative, death-oriented product – cigarettes.

Hit the pause button for a moment so this idea can completely sink in: Cigarette marketers cleverly attached, in the public's mind, two utterly unrelated things: 1) the American cowboy, with all of the powerful feelings that image evokes in us, of independence, self-confidence, wide-open spaces and authentic Americanism, and 2) cigarettes, a stinky, health-destroying waste of money. This legendary advertising campaign targeting men succeeded in transforming market underdog Marlboro (up until then, sold as a women's cigarette with the slogan "Mild as May") into the world's best-selling cigarette.

It was all part of the modern marketing revolution, which meant that, instead of touting a product's actual benefits, marketers instead would psychologically manipulate the public by associating their product with the fulfillment of people's deepest, unconscious needs and desires. (Want to sell liquor? Put a seductive woman in the ad.) Obviously, the marketers could never actually deliver on that promise – but emotional manipulation sure is an effective way to sell a lot of products.

The "Marlboro Man" campaign launched 50 years ago. Today, the powerful cowboy image is being used to sell us on another self-destructive product: homosexual sex and "gay" marriage.

Are you ready for this? Will you now accept this evil degenerate behavior as normal? This is where these evil-minded producers and writers are taking the viewing public!

Israel's Legacy!

With the changing of the guard now evident in Israel, we can only think upon the preservation of tiny Israel. Arial Sharon was intent upon making concessions and giving away what little land Israel has, to evil minded Arabs in the guise of "Palestinians." In the so-called "Roadmap to Peace" capitulation, Sharon was in all reality only interested in self preservation. His political ambition was of more importance than Israel's survival as a nation. This can be realized in the new party formation called Kadima, which supposedly was taking a centrist position in Israeli politics. Moving away from Likud reveals his weakened mindset. Likud is the conservative party in Israel. The centrist position demands less austerity. This new party wants to compromise on portions of Jerusalem. Also the so-called "Palestinian State" would be promulgated as necessary for Israel's survival and future relationship with the USA.

It now appears that Sharon's plans have been changed by Almighty Yahweh to preserve the state of Israel, and ensure the fulfillment of Bible prophecy. Anyone that attempts to derail Israel, will pay a significant price, up to and including their lives. As Sharon now lies in a very guarded condition, the hand of Yahweh is evident in this!

The land of Israel was given to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The land was not given to the descendants of Ishmael. Isaac was the child of promise, and Yahweh made His covenant with Isaac not Ishmael.

Israel's Political Parties!

The politics in Israel are very strange, to say the least. Unlike the British and American Political systems which only have a few parties, Israel seemingly has a plethora of political parties vying for power and recognition. Below is a list of Israel's various parties. Just about every political agenda you could conceive is listed.

However, no matter what party in Israel is opting for power, the constant bleating for peace in the Middle East is a waste of time! No matter what the party in power is! No matter what compromises they are willing to make! No matter what! Peace in that area is IMPOSSIBLE! Changing parties to pacify the State Department's agenda will fail. President Bush, Secretary of State Condolezza Rice will fail overall. Why? Because Yahweh's word says so, that's why!

Ariel Sharon ran afoul of this (Yahweh's Word) in his recent transition to a new political party called Kadima. The point he made in starting a new party was to pursue the Roadmap to Peace process. This new party supposedly has a middle of the road approach in political philosophy! Removing himself from the Liqud party, Sharon now appears more willing to compromise Israel's security than ever before.

It appears that Ariel Sharon is now more interested in receiving the Nobel Peace Prize in this deviance from his original political philosophy. The Liqud Party is known as the labor party, and this party is inclined towards conservatism. Removing himself to a centrist position shows his inherent weakness. Perhaps some senility has set in? Regardless, Almighty Yahweh is in control of that land! Almighty Yahweh also controls their government, and everything that concerns Israel, and nothing will ever change that!

This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the command by the word of the holy ones, so that the living may know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men and gives it to whomever He will. And He sets up over it the lowest of men. Daniel 4:17

Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert reiterated Israel’s support for the U.S. backed Road Map initiative for the Arab-Israeli dispute at a meeting Tuesday with President Moshe Katzav.

Olmert said that while he was prime minister, his government would “stick to the Road Map.” “It would be a mistake to release somebody from a responsibility whose framework he is obligated to,” he said.

Olmert said he hoped Israel will start negotiating a permanent status agreement with Palestinian Authority chief Mahmoud Abbas, after elections are held both in Israel and the PA. He said, however, that this would happen “only if he commits himself to disarming the terrorist organizations” that work out of the PA.

How many clear thinking individuals actually realize that this "Roadmap to Peace" is only a pipe dream? Meaning a virtual impossibility? Can Israel come to terms with a violent, hostile people? The Arab world is fully ensconced in Koran training, and they can only see themselves as heir apparent to world rulership. Israel is a stumbling block to their delusional way of thinking. Almighty Yahweh never selected the Koran as His message to the world. The Torah contains the laws for the human race. In order to accomplish their goal, Israel must be eradicated! They must cease to exist as a nation for Islam to claim the crown! Can this happen? Can Islam rule the world? Perhaps! But their rulership would only be temporary!

Is the noble becoming ignoble? Has the war on terrorism now become the war to save oil profits? Fighting terrorism is a noble and worthy cause. Fighting for profit margin and bottom line figures is ignoble, unworthy at best. How do the profiteers always manage to cash in on necessity? How is it they can always capitalize on the moment? War should not be used to increase financial wherewithal. Perpetuating war for monetary gain cannot be viewed as an honest undertaking.

Do we really need oil from Iran? The news of Iran's nuclear undertaking put many people in a panic mode. (But of course that doesn't take much when you have a weakened mentally as some do.) The masculinity factor is lacking in many so-called males today. Their estrogen count is much too high! Hence the supposed crisis? No, we do not need oil from Iran. The oil companies have a large investment in the Middle East and they want to protect it. Oil supplies are not lacking if you want the truth. By controlling oil prices, the profit margin continues to bring steady income. Flood the market with oil, the prices go down, the profit is less than desired, and you can do the math. Oil companies want you to believe they are only making a small profit on oil and a substantial amount of their profits are used for research and development projects. Is this the real truth?

Brain Scans May Be Used As Lie Detectors

Picture this: Your boss is threatening to fire you because he thinks you stole company property. He doesn't believe your denials. Your lawyer suggests you deny it one more time _ in a brain scanner that will show you're telling the truth.

Wacky? Science fiction? It might happen this summer.

Just the other day I lay flat on my back as a scanner probed the tiniest crevices of my brain and a computer screen asked, "Did you take the watch?"

The lab I was visiting recently reported catching lies with 90 percent accuracy. And an entrepreneur in Massachusetts is hoping to commercialize the system in the coming months.

"I'd use it tomorrow in virtually every criminal and civil case on my desk" to check up on the truthfulness of clients, said attorney Robert Shapiro, best known for defending O.J. Simpson against murder charges.

Shapiro serves as an adviser to entrepreneur Steven Laken and has a financial interest in Cephos Corp., which Laken founded to commercialize the brain-scanning work being done at the Medical University of South Carolina.

That's where I had my brain-scan interrogation. But this lab isn't alone. Researchers at the University of Pennsylvania have also reported impressive accuracy through brain-scanning recently. California entrepreneur Joel T. Huizenga plans to use that work to start offering lie-detecting services in Philadelphia this July.

His outfit, No Lie MRI Inc., will serve government agencies and "anybody that wants to demonstrate that they're telling the truth," he said.

Both labs use brain-scanning technology called functional magnetic resonance imaging, or fMRI. It's a standard tool for studying the brain, but research into using it to detect lies is still in early stages. Nobody really knows yet whether it will prove more accurate than polygraphs, which measure things like blood pressure and breathing rate to look for emotional signals of lying.

But advocates for fMRI say it has the potential to be more accurate, because it zeros in on the source of lying, the brain, rather than using indirect measures. So it may someday provide lawyers with something polygraphs can't: legal evidence of truth-telling that's widely admissible in court. (Courts generally regard polygraph results as unreliable, and either prohibit such evidence or allow it only if both sides in a case agree to let it in.)

Laken said he's aiming to offer the fMRI service for use in situations like libel, slander and fraud where it's one person's word against another, and perhaps in employee screening by government agencies. Attorneys suggest it would be more useful in civil than most criminal cases, he said.

Of course, there's no telling where the general approach might lead. A law review article has discussed the legality of using fMRI to interrogate foreigners in U.S. custody. Maybe police will use it as an interrogation tool, too, or perhaps major companies will find it a cheaper than litigation or arbitration when an employee is accused of stealing something important, other observers say.

For his part, Shapiro says he'd switch to fMRI from polygraph for screening certain clients because he figures it would be more reliable and maybe more credible to law enforcement agencies.

In any case, the idea of using fMRI to detect lies has started a buzz among scientists, legal experts and ethicists. Many worry about rushing too quickly from the lab to real-world use. Some caution that it may not work as well in the real world as the early lab results suggest.

And others worry that it might.

Unlike perusing your mail or tapping your phone, this is "looking inside your brain," Hank Greely, a law professor who directs the Stanford Center for Law and the Biosciences, told me a few days before my scan.

It "does seem to me to be a significant change in our ability ... to invade what has been the last untouchable sanctuary, the contents of your own mind," Greely said. "It should make us stop and think to what extent we should allow this to be done."

But Dr. Mark George, the genial neurologist and psychiatrist who let me lie in his scanner and be grilled by his computer, said he doesn't see a privacy problem with the technology.

That's because it's impossible to test people without their consent, he said. Subjects have to cooperate so fully _ holding the head still, and reading and responding to the questions, for example _ that they have to agree to the scan.

"It really doesn't read your mind if you don't want your mind to be read," he said. "If I were wrongly accused and this were available, I'd want my defense lawyer to help me get this."

So maybe the technology is better termed a "truth confirmer" than lie detector, he said.

Whatever you call it, the technology has produced some eyebrow-raising results. George and his colleagues recently reported that using fMRI data, a computer was able to spot lies in 28 out of 31 volunteers.

I joined an extension of that study. That's why I found myself lying on a narrow table in George's lab while he and his assistants pulled a barrel-shaped framework over my head like a rigid hood. As it brushed the tip of my nose and blotted out the light from the room, I looked straight ahead to see a computer screen, which would be my interrogator.

Then the table eased into the tunnel of the fMRI scanner, a machine the size of a small storage shed. Only my legs stuck out.

As I focused on the questions popping up on the computer screen, the scanner roared like a tractor trying to uproot a tree stump.

It was bombarding me with radio waves and a powerful magnetic field to create detailed images of my brain and detect tiny changes in blood flow in certain areas. Those changes would indicate those areas were working a bit harder than usual, and according to research by George and others, that would in turn indicate I was lying.

Some questions that popped up on that screen were easy: Am I awake, is it 2004, do I like movies. Others were a little more challenging: Have I ever cheated on taxes, or gossiped, or deceived a loved one. As instructed, I answered them all truthfully, pushing the "Yes" button with my thumb or the "No" button with my index finger.

Then, there it was: "Did you remove a watch from the drawer?"

Just a half-hour or so before, in an adjacent room, I'd been told to remove either a watch or a ring from a drawer and slip it into a locker with my briefcase. This was the mock crime that volunteers lied about in George's study. So I took the watch. As I lay in the scanner I remembered seizing its gold metal band and nestling it into the locker.

So, the computer was asking, did I take the watch?

No, I replied with a jab of my finger. I didn't steal nuthin.'

I lied again and again. Other questions about the watch popped up seemingly at random during the interrogation. Is the watch in my locker? Is it in the drawer? Did I steal it from the drawer?

The same questions came up about the ring, and I told the truth about those.

It would be a different computer's job to figure out which I was lying about, the watch or the ring. It would compare the way my brain acted when I responded to those questions versus what my brain did when I responded truthfully to the other questions. Whichever looked more different from the "truthful" brain activity would be considered the signature of deceit.

Finally, after answering 160 questions over the course of 16 minutes _ actually, it was 80 questions two times apiece _ I was done. The machine returned me to the bright light of the scanning room.

The computer's verdict? That would take a few days to produce, since it required a lot of data analysis. I didn't mind waiting. It's not like the result would help get me fired, or lose a lawsuit, or send me to jail.

Nobody in George's studies faced consequences like that, which is one reason the lab results may not apply to real-world situations. George has already begun another study in which volunteers face "a little more jeopardy" from the mock crime. He declined to describe it because he didn't want prospective volunteers to hear about it ahead of time. That work is funded by the Department of Defense Polygraph Institute.

Other questions remain. How would this work on people with brain diseases? Or people taking medications? How would this work on people outside the 18-to-50 age range included in George's recent work?

How about experienced liars? George hopes eventually to study volunteers from prisons.

And then there's the matter of the three people who got away with lying in his recent study. For some reason, the computer failed to identify the object they'd stolen. George says he doesn't know what went wrong.

But in a real-world situation, he said, the person being questioned would go through an exercise like the ring-or-watch task as well as being quizzed about the topic at hand. That way, if the computer failed in the experimental task, it would be obvious that it couldn't judge the person's truthfulness.

Because of that, George said, he's comfortable with entrepreneur Laken's plans to introduce the scanning service to lawyers, though just on a limited basis, by the middle of this year. Lab studies are obviously necessary, he said, but "at a certain point you really have to start applying and see how it works. And I think we're getting close."

But Jennifer Vendemia, a University of South Carolina researcher who studies deception and the brain, said she finds Laken's timetable premature. So little research has been done on using fMRI for this purpose that it's too soon to make any judgment about how useful it could be, she said.

Without studies to see how well the technique works in other labs _ a standard procedure in the scientific world _ its reliability might be an issue, said Dr. Sean Spence of the University of Sheffield in England, who also studies fMRI for detecting deception.

Speaking more generally, ethical and legal experts said they were wary of quickly using fMRI for spotting lies.

"What's really scary is if we start implementing this before we know how accurate it really is," Greely said. "People could be sent to jail, people could be sent to the death penalty, people could lose their jobs."

Greely recently called for pre-marketing approval of lie-detection devices in general, like the federal government carries out for medications.

Judy Illes, director of Stanford's program in neuroethics, also has concerns: Could people, including victims of crimes, be coerced into taking an fMRI test? Could it distinguish accurate memories from muddled ones? Could it detect a person who's being misleading without actually lying?

Her worries multiply if fMRI evidence starts showing up in the courtroom. For one thing, unlike the technical data from a polygraph, it can be used to make brain images that look simple and convincing, belying the complexity of the data behind them, she said.

"You show a jury a picture with a nice red spot, that can have a very strong impact in a very rapid way.... We need to understand how juries are going to respond to that information. Will they be open to complex explanations of what the images do and do not mean?"

There's also a philosophical argument in case fMRI works all too well. Greely notes that four Supreme Court justices wrote in 1998 that if polygraphs were reliable enough to use as evidence, they shouldn't be admitted because they would usurp the jury's role of determining the truth. With only four votes, that position doesn't stand as legal precedent, but it's "an interesting straw in the wind" for how fMRI might be received someday, he said.

It didn't take any jury to find the truth in my case.

"We nabbed ya," George said after sending me the results of my scan. "It wasn't a close call."

I was ratted out by the three parts of my brain the technique targets. They'd become more active when I lied about taking the watch than when I truthfully denied taking the ring.

Those areas are involved in juggling the demands of doing several things at once, in thinking about oneself, and in stopping oneself from making a natural response _ all things the brain apparently does when it pulls back from blurting the truth and works up a whopper instead, George said.

Of course, nobody is going to make me or anybody else climb into an fMRI scanner every time they want a statement verified. The procedure is too cumbersome to be used so casually, George says.

But he figures that if a perfect lie detector were developed, that practical consideration might not matter. The mere knowledge that one is available, he said, might provoke people to clean up their acts.

"My hope," George said, "would be that it might make the world operate a little bit more openly and honestly."

THE HARSH REALITIES OF TRUTH!

When confronted with a death sentence, the realities of truth can be very harsh indeed. When a Doctor must inform a patient they have incurable cancer, this indeed can be harsh. A Doctor has a very unpleasant task at times, when they must inform their patients regarding their health status. The Doctor's decision to inform the patient of possible options, requires some detachment. Doctors are taught this technique in Medical School. If the Doctors were to be emotionally involved with their patients, it would hinder their performance. A Doctor is at their best when they are free to practice their training, coupled with experience and knowledge. Telling someone they only have a brief period of time to live, is very difficult for all concerned.

The word of Yahweh informs us of some very harsh realities concerning life and death. Choices must be made by every individual at some point in time. The Bible offers choices. The Bible offers life, and the Bible offers death. The harsh reality is of course optional to everyone.
